The harsh, unforgiving cold of winter has long set in. Snow covers the ground and students tend find things to do inside as much as possible. With the Yule Ball fast approaching, students certainly have things to discuss and plan.
Politically, things are nowhere near as sound as people are lead to believe. There is turmoil amongst the ranks of the Death Eaters as Callid Warren and Fierro Darque plot against Trevor Williams, who is aided by Sienna Faber, but can she be trusted? Even amongst the people, there seems to be social unrest as SAVIOR works to free slaves and the leader of the Order of the Phoenix finds himself captured. Unification is necessary, but will it happen?

I went through OOC threads and removed any that were over a year old without any responses. If you notice any threads OOC or IC that should be removed or at least put in the graveyard, let me know. Some I may leave simply because they did have place in a current sub-plot, but most I'll likely move. As you'll be sure to notice, we're back to our regular skin, but soon I may be putting up a skin I've been working on. I just need to do a little more tweaking and finish sidebar images. 10/20/09 - Must say I'm enjoying the posts in the Art Meme that Subaru made for us. It's quite fun to do. Don't have to be a great artist to do it. It's all about you having fun and everyone else being wowed or amused. Trust me, no one's going to judge your attempts. Just have fun! ^^
In other news, I'm sure you've noticed the influx of claims threads and such today. I'm obviously working to get the site a little more organized and such. I will be trying to post as well in between doing things to take a break, but there are a few things like info sheets I'd like to get done since I feel like it. Hopefully by the end of the day I'll have a few of those up in the information board as well as a newly rewritten form of the rules. There is one new rule, a slightly larger signature height, and I think they're more organized, personally. Should there still be questions about particular groups or topics as they're posted, you may PM them to me as we go along. I'll add an FAQ feature with them. Anyway, now I go to work on them! ~ Jen

Interaction (3 sub-boards) Are you looking for the board for the Daily Prophet? or perhaps the diaries and journals? How about a place for letters? All of these boards have been moved here.
Time Between This place is primarily to tie things off between SF and LR. However, if you were never part of the originals and would like to establish a past relationship with one of the other characters on here and play out some time at Hogwarts, you may feel free. Just be sure to time stamp your posts so people don't have your character in sixth and their character in it as well when it should be yours in sixth and theirs not even yet in Hogwarts.
Twilight Zone (1 sub-board) Do you have muse itching for something that you don't want to go down in the actual canon of things? or perhaps something that can't go down in the actual canon of the site? Maybe you want to play your favorite HP canon randomly just for fun? This board is just for that: random fun. You can do anything within the realm of the rules here, and best yet? You aren't required an actual bio to play a character here.
London (2 sub-boards) There's a hole in the world like a great black pit and the vermin of the world inhabit it, and its morals aren't worth what a pig could spit, and it goes by the name of London. At the top of the hole sit the privileged few making mock of the vermin in the lonely zoo, turning beauty to filth and greed... (Sweeney Todd)
Pubs and Clubs (2 sub-boards) London and its surrounding areas have a variety of pubs, ranging from the Leaky Cauldron to other, more savory places. Of course, one always risks getting into the middle of a fight between football hooligans when going inside some, but many seem not to mind.
Puxley Manor (4 sub-boards) The fact that Trevor uses such a former tourist attraction as his base of operations shows his boldness. He has nothing to hide, so why not? Of course, that doesn't mean there aren't a wide variety of defensive spells around the place to keep out muggles and the unwanted rebellion as well as spells to keep the slaves in. Can't be risking an attack or any escapes, can we?
Tutaminis Manor (5 sub-boards) Originally serving as an interim school while Hogwarts was closed, this beautifully designed manor now serves as a safe haven for fugitives from Trevor Williams as well as the headquarters for the new Order of the Phoenix. It is heavily defended, and its location at any point can change as the whole manor is capable of moving.
Hogsmeade (6 sub-boards) Students still frequent here on various weekends. After all, those who attend have no need to fear a raid, and the Death Eaters have had this small village under their control for some time now.
Knockturn Alley (7 sub-boards) Knockturn Alley is now all that is left near Diagon Alley. Its tailoring to dark wizards has yet to cease, and it has slowly begun to take over some of the buildings near it from the former Diagon Alley that are still fairly well intact.
Hogwarts (6 sub-boards) Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has been well-known and loved by most throughout the years, but now things are beginning to change as Death Eaters have taken charge. Without muggle-borns and with the addition of muggle politics and the dark arts, many are uncertain about the school's future.
Azkaban The famous wizarding prison once known for holding well-known Death Eaters now holds prisoners of war as they are questioned, tortured, beaten, and worse. Dementors still hang around, but they are not as bridled as before the takeover.
Wizarding Housing (4 sub-boards) The homes of the wizarding world range from the eccentric, even absurd, to the more classic and traditional homes. Many are expanded internally by magic to make up for what they lack in size naturally, and many more now have defensive spells up in hopes of protecting themselves from Trevor and his Death Eaters.
Other Magic is a universal occurrence, not a localized incident. Within are various magical communities around the globe from Spain to Japan to the Americas.
