Sofi stalked through the halls of the hospital for what felt like the millionth time that day. This time, however, she was actually following prey: an elusive beast by the name of DC. She had no idea where his room was located, so she was mainly going by the expressions of the other people in the halls. If they looked shocked or worried at all, she took that direction. Finally, she heard a door slam ahead of her and nearly grinned in relief: solid evidence that she was going the right way at last. She turned a corner and saw a nurse with a wary expression.
"Where'd he go?" she asked commandingly; the nurse was so taken by surprise that she pointed to the correct door without even questioning what Sofi wanted with the angry boy behind it. Sofi nodded once and went over to the door, wrenching it open so hard it nearly came off of its hinges. Slamming it to behind her, she stomped over to the boy, who seemed to be trying to play his guitar again. She wrenched the instrument of of his hands and grabbed his shoulders, hard enough to bruise.
"And just what do you think that was all about, hmm?" she said, her voice dangerously quiet. She knew DC had never seen her angry, and she hoped that he would be impressed enough to keep his mouth shut. "So... you think your reputation's bad enough that you can just do whatever the hell you want now, is that it? You can be rude to people who are friends of your own friends; you can insult people in front of a crowd just cuz you're upset? Cuz that seems kinda stupid to me, and, as I thought we'd already settled, you're not stupid.... Startin' to doubt that, now, though... Got anything to say for yourself, Cross? Or are you just gonna try and hit me too?"
