Orion paced Hogwarts relentlessly. Some called it patrolling, others called it brooding. He called it thinking. He had ranged the castle from top to bottom and was returning to the dungeons for another round of Animagus practice. He had gotten so much better than when he first began the project. His hands, for example, were almost effortlessly becoming feline paws. The change, however, stopped at his elbows. He needed to work on that more.
A stretch of blank wall on his right made him pause. The walls of the school were covered with tapestries and paintings, or were spruced up with statues and suits of armor. A blank space was as out of place as the swamp on the second floor. More so, even, because the swamp was a tribute to two transfigurationists from years earlier. This was nothing, an abberation in a place filled with magical things.
Orion regared the wall cooly with gold eyes, thinking. Was there a secret here, or was the painting in for repair? There was no hole in any of the stone to indicate a peg or mortar nail for a paining to hang on, but a Sticking Charm wouldn't leave a trace like that.
He paced back and forth in front of the space, wishing that there was information about oddities in the castle like this. From one moment to the next, on his third trip, a plain wood door occupied the space.
Orion suspiciously drew his wand and pushed the door open. A small room greeted him with nothing more than a desk, a book, a chair, and a window. Had he considered it, Orion would have blessed the small office as the perfect study room. Instead, he carefully entered, closed the door and began to read.

Orion stormed through the corridors, looking for Gemma. He was excited, but calm and centered at the smae time. He felt like a spring bubbling beneath the earth's surface, or...or...something. He felt powerful in his knowledge, and wanted to share. That in itself was odd, but he had to share with Gemma, at least. He stopped himself midstride and decided to be smart about finding his fiance. A flick of his wand sent his patronus after his target. That the once noble tiger had changed into a house cat still had him irked. Oh well. It would guide her back to him, and then he'd share with her all the secrets he had learned.
