Poly Juice potion, Brigita cursed herself tugging her hood further over her face as she pretended to look for something in her bag, Why did I refuse the offer of Poly juice?![/blockquote]
The stuff had always kind of scared the young woman. It was meant for humans, not half human half magical creatures. Sure it worked on some part Veelas without any adverse effects, but her mother had also told a story of a young mix blood who'd wanted to spy on her boyfriend and had ended up trapped between the two bodies. It wasn't designed for her blood, so Brigita had never risked it.
Now, as she stood in the street, watching two Imperium Guards walking down the alley towards her, Brigita wished she had just risked it.
20 feet...
This was bad... So bad... She needed to leave, like now, or better yet, yesterday. She reached into the bag, her hand closing round her new wand and concealed it behind the bag. If she just looked down then maybe...
15 feet...
But she looked out of place, it was sunny... No one else had their hood up apart from herself. Maybe they'd just walk past.
10 feet...
Brigita's hands were beginning to sweat. There was no time to get out of the way, it would look to suspicious, but why would they stop? Maybe because you're the only one in the street with a fucking hood up smart ass! Beigita cursed the voice of reason.
5 feet....
They were right there... Maybe they'd just walk past and on with their work, maybe... maybe...
"Excuse me miss?" The male deep male came from above her, Brigita gripped her wand,"Do you have-"
"Stupify!" Brigita didn't let him finish as she pointed the wand at the first man. He fell, straight backwards but Brigita didn't stick around to see. The moment the man began to fall she was off, shoving people out of her way as she tore down the street. The wind caught her hood and it fell away, revealing her ash blond hair.
"SHIT!" The voice of the second man cursed from behind her, " Stop that girl! Litvak -" Brigita stopped listening as turned a corner, pushing through the crowds to find some way, any way, of escape. She needed to get out of the street now if she had any hope of loosing the Guards. But where?
