November 3rd 2011
It had been a whirlwind 3 days. What started out as a outing to see her "grave" for some closure before going back to Salem to make plans with her group before moving in on Trevor turned into her finding her long lost husband and being taken to the order head quarters and finding out that her son was with Trevor and that her son from the future was here as well. That was such a mouth full to say and hear and it hurt her head just thinking about it.
Why was it that there life couldn't just be ordinary? Everything in the life of the Winslows always had to be a challenge. Evie had avoided talking or seeing anyone since she got here. There would be too many questions and she didn't want to have to tell her story hundreds of times. It was better that as few people as possible knew she was still alive. The last thing she needed was for word to get back to Trevor somehow, if she was to take him out then she wanted the element of surprise.
After spending a few days in her room Evie needed out. Some kind of fresh air, anything was better than the musty smell of decaying upholstery. Quietly she snuck past everyone and made her way out side toward the pond to get some much needed peace and quiet. Evie walked around a few times before finding a old stone bench to sit on. This was so much better than sitting in a small room and hearing people walk past her door at all hours of the day. Lazily she bent down and picked up a few stones before throwing them across the water in a attempt to skip them. It wasnt working out as well as she hoped, skipping stones was never one of her stong point. With a large sigh she threw her last stone and sat back and flipped her collar of her jacket up to cover her neck from the chilly November air. That was one thing Evie missed most of having long hair, it always kept her warm.
As she was sitting there Evie picked up on the sounds of approaching footsteps crunching on the dried leaves that littered the ground. Her hand went straight for her wand that she kept hidden at her side, if this person was going to sneak up on her then she was going to defend herself if need be. Now it was just a waiting game until they showed thereself.
