7:00 p.m.
Justin hadn't been at dinner, which was admittedly an odd thing for the Hufflepuff. In fact, after Defense Against the Dark Arts let out at 2:00 in the afternoon, the young man had disappeared completely from prying eyes. Overall, it was completely abnormal for no one to know where he was. He was fully aware of this fact, of course, but he couldn't care less. He had hid away in a spot no one would find him outside before dinner, and once dinner had started, he had headed into the common room to his dormitory. The matter at hand? Halloween. More specifically, Halloween costume ideas.
By now, Justin had a pretty good idea of what he was doing. He simply had to work out the little kinks in it, such as how to go about making the costume look real. He would need make-up and a bra. He would need a dress. He would need something to get rid of the hair on his legs. He would need heels. He would need other things, too. He would have to have a plan to hide a certain...problem area, too, in case something should happen. He would imagine a dress would display any "problems" a little too obviously.
It was entirely too bad DC wasn't here to plot and scheme with him. He would have known just what to do. In fact, the two of them might have even gone as a couples costume--nothing but a spot of platonic fun, of course. As it was, he would have to find a date to go as his other half. He wondered who that should be. Lissa hadn't been here for over a year, and besides, he hadn't really heard from her lately. Of course, that was his own doing. After that letter, it had been a little hard to want to send anything to her, though he really should do that soon. Soon as in now. Perhaps he should head out of the common room and up to the owlery. Professor Conleth was probably wondering why he hadn't heard anymore on the Lissa matter since the twelfth, which was no ten days ago.
That was probably a good idea. Hopefully her master would be too busy on a Friday night to possibly intercept the owl. From what he understood, most adults liked to host dinner parties and such on Friday nights. End of the week, destress from work or whatever nonsense. It was probably a safe time to owl her, right? With a sigh, Justin grabbed a piece of parchment from his desk and poised with a pen. Ten minutes later, he was finished, but he realized it was now time for people to be heading back to their common rooms or at least around the halls. Great. 7:10 p.m. was not the best time for him to attempt to go do this when other students were out and about and probably wondering where the hell he'd disappeared to. Ah well. He had to do this. He had to send this. So, he began to head from the dormitories to the common room.
((Title subject to change. I just am lacking ideas at the moment.))
