Pandora wasn't normally one for the whole "work-out" scene, but since Sofi and was going, she figured the least she could do was go along. She didn't have anything else to do - even her homework was done, at least for now - and Sofi had been telling her that she needed to get at least a little stronger, so here she was, walking into the small weight room near the locker rooms with her team Captain.
At least we get to go and relax after this... she thought, already longingly imagining what it would be like to be able to go and take a hot bath after working out hard, the way Sofi always wanted to do.
9:00pm
An hour later, Pandora was feeling wrung out; Sofi was pushing her hard, though Pandora guessed that the dark-skinned girl was pushing herself harder still. She seemed to take an odd satisfaction in being able to do a higher weight, a greater number of reps, which Pandora could never bring herself to understand.
"Go drink some water, Pandora," Sofi ordered her, gesturing towards the small gargoyle spewing water in one corner of the room, "Ya don't look so good..."
"Oh, really?" Panda muttered back, her Irish accent stronger due to her impending exhaustion, "I'm about ta die, and I don't look s' good?" A soft laugh behind her made her look around, and she grinned, albeit wearily, at the sight of one of the few boys in the school who had never even tried to mess with her: the Gryffindor Captain, Logan Shaw. She'd fleetingly wished he would a couple of times, due to his good looks, but at the moment she was rather glad he wasn't, since Sofi was already looking askance at him. "Think that's funny, Shaw?" she teased him, though more in the way she might tease Justin rather than in the way she usually did boys.
"Just drink the water, Pandora," he answered, glancing in Sofi's direction before giving Pandora a small grin, "Your Captain's got her reasons for wanting you to, and I bet one of the main ones is that she doesn't fancy carrying you back to your common room."
"Callin' me fat, Logan?" Pandora crowed, smacking his shoulder, and the jokes flew thick and fast.
"More like undersized. Eat more, girl!"
"Well, you're one ta talk, since you're undersized, too!"
"How would you know? You've never gotten the chance to look..."
"I have my methods. 'Sides, you're a Gryff, you've all got tiny-"
"Ooookay, I'm just gonna stop ya there," Sofi interjected, clearly caught somewhere between laughing and rolling her eyes. Pandora grinned at her, then got her drink of water. She passed Logan, who had removed his t-shirt and begun a set of push-ups, to return to Sofi so they could leave when she realized she'd heard the door open...
