10:58 p.m.
In roughly two minutes, hopefully everyone that wasn't already here would be here. At least, Casey could hope. With the way the Order was so disorganized and everyone seemed too afraid to do what it took, it wouldn't surprise him if people simply didn't show, but he would take what he could get. As long as he had some professors attending this meeting, all would hopefully go well. It all depended on whether or not anyone was willing to do what it took or not. Given his past experiences with the veteran members of his time, he wasn't too convinced anyone would be in this younger, newer generation. Still, he had to try.
Tonight, they had two important matters to discuss. The first was a usual matter: what to do about Trevor Williams and his regime. However, it was an unusual solution that would take someone with backbone to follow through with the plan. The second was a rather unusual matter: what to do about these two people from the future. He had paid for a hotel room for the two of them last night and had only brought them into the safe house an hour ago when he had gone and retrieved them. They had been in the Capitalum Building with him since. He didn't want anyone to accuse him of compromising their safety, especially given speculations and rumors that had been going on since the night the Death Eaters attacked them.
After all, it was odd that quiet little Nadia had been found digested by one of Mandy's snakes. Speculation had run amok since then. There were currently two camps of theories he was aware of: one that stated Mandy was the infiltrator and one that stated Nadia was. Since the anti-Nadia camp had the proof of an unrecognizable wand found only feet away from the engorged snake, Casey had sided with them. Not to mention, she had been the one present when Damien had been captured from what he had heard. But anyway, that was beside the point. The point was that because of this, people were careful about who was let in and wanted a say. This was the closest he could provide to letting everyone have a say in whether or not Julian and Delilah would be accepted.
But now to just wait. Hopefully every Order member not staying in the Safe House had received their respective owls the night before. Never mind the message had been vague. The mention that there was an important meeting in the Capitalum Building should have been more than enough.
