8:57 p.m.
Immediately after he set the balled-up letter on the desk, Trevor had left the manor, disapparating as soon as he reached a safe point as he had never disabled his anti-disapparition spell in recent days. Appearing near the gates at Hogwarts, he found himself surrounded rather quickly by the Guard. "Relax, you nitwits. It's only me."
"Just following Orders, sir," some bloke replied with a sense of attitude.
"Terribly sorry, sir. Terribly sorry! Jus' we didn't know if you was a va--a...a...a...," a shorter, stalkier guard began to reply before finishing in defeat, "a bad guy."
"Yes, well, let me through."
"Certainly, sir! Right away, sir!" Trevor resisted the urge to hex the guard and simply let himself in. As soon as the gate opened enough for him to fit through, he entered the ground, giving no further word to either of the two guards who had spoken to him or the three others who had remained silent.
The man made his way across the worn pathway that lead to the doors of the Hogwarts castle, the crunch of snow beneath his feet and the whistling wind the only sounds he paid much heed to until he reached the huge double doors to the castle. A wave of his wand opened one, which groaned beneath the stress of the push. The buzz of conversation could be heard to his right from the direction of the great hall, and the man paused. Where were the professors at? Where were any slaves at? Were they holed away for later questioning while their masters were interrogated? or were they left to care for their masters' quarters?
"You, boy," Trevor stated, spotting a rather stoic-looking boy feet away. The young man snapped to attention at his post. He seemed vaguely familiar, but the man attributed it to the fact he was probably young enough to have been a student prior to the takeover and perhaps beyond it. He'd probably seen him during his stint as a janitor. "Where are the slaves being kept?" he asked.
"In the professor's common room, Lord Williams," the boy replied, and Trevor nodded before heading toward where he knew the common room to have been. Ground floor, to his left, a few corridors down. It took him ten minutes to arrive, and when he did, he took a moment to remember how to even get into the place. It was hidden, something hidden. Ah, yes, it was similar to how Diagon Alley had been. A pattern to be tapped in the blank stone wall that hid the doorway. It took a few minutes longer for him to recall the exact pattern enough to dare try, and a couple attempts later, he had it and was in.
He barely paid attention to the commons before him as he didn't see anyone during his quick glance around it. Instead, he headed to his right since the dorm rooms surrounded the commons in the professor's common room. A quick circle lead him to Faber's dormitory, and he knocked, hoping the slave girl would be in there to answer. If not, he would have to double check the commons.
