The harsh, unforgiving cold of winter has long set in. Snow covers the ground and students tend find things to do inside as much as possible. With the Yule Ball fast approaching, students certainly have things to discuss and plan.

Politically, things are nowhere near as sound as people are lead to believe. There is turmoil amongst the ranks of the Death Eaters as Callid Warren and Fierro Darque plot against Trevor Williams, who is aided by Sienna Faber, but can she be trusted? Even amongst the people, there seems to be social unrest as SAVIOR works to free slaves and the leader of the Order of the Phoenix finds himself captured. Unification is necessary, but will it happen?

So, activity's been a bit slow lately. A few of you have let us all know to expect slower activity from you for various reasons, and those people do not have to worry about replying to the activity check. However, many have not left any sort of note and have disappeared for nearly an entire month. Others have logged in, played games, posted when they could. So, we have a bit of a mix here.

If you haven't posted because you have no idea what to do, please head over to this board and say something like, "______ needs plots! Anyone want to help?" Maybe give us a little info on your character or what sort of plots you're looking for, and someone will help. Don't hesitate to reply to each other's plot requests. You guys have all sorts of creative freedom here, so please use it! Nothing is "stupid." Anything can lead to a fun, involving plot line for your character(s) to shine in.

Anyway, this activity check has one requirement: you must start posting (or attempting to find someone to post with) once you reply or you must post an away message once you reply. It defeats the purpose to reply to the check and then just go back to being how you were before (if you weren't posting before). If you need a post to reply to, check out this post here, which lists all threads on the site and color codes them if they're open, finished, or in progress. Remember, students are on winter break at the moment, so if you want to reply to a thread in Knockturn or Hogsmeade that's set on a weekday that's after December 17th, feel free!
