The harsh, unforgiving cold of winter has long set in. Snow covers the ground and students tend find things to do inside as much as possible. With the Yule Ball fast approaching, students certainly have things to discuss and plan.

Politically, things are nowhere near as sound as people are lead to believe. There is turmoil amongst the ranks of the Death Eaters as Callid Warren and Fierro Darque plot against Trevor Williams, who is aided by Sienna Faber, but can she be trusted? Even amongst the people, there seems to be social unrest as SAVIOR works to free slaves and the leader of the Order of the Phoenix finds himself captured. Unification is necessary, but will it happen?

Playable: 17-31 December 2010

Feel free to chat here, guys. The only rules are to play nice, no advertising, and no spamming. Thank you!

Trevor nodded. "Alright," he replied simply. He wasn't going to argue with her. He could always have her things from here shipped or buy her new things. It wasn't like it was a major issue. Besides, he liked the eagerness her not wanting to run up to her dorm and get her things right this moment implied she had. She knew what she wanted and was going for it. Reminded him of someone he used to know yet someone he usually avoided thinking about. However, today he would have to speak of her quite a bit--today and many to follow. There would be trips through the photo albums, the trunk that held some of her old things that he'd kept for memory's sake. Yes, Anna was worming her way back into his life even from the grave, and he had a feeling it was going to be difficult, but maybe it would help having Kiley there, and it would certainly keep his mind off Evie. Maybe he would finally be able to let go of those emotions. Maybe it would be good for him. Maybe.

He gave his daughter a smile before moving towards the library door, keeping his pace moderate so she could easily keep up or quicken it according to how she walked. It wasn't a matter of being lost in the school, for he still remembered it well enough to get to the main entrance. Rather, it was just to be able to keep conversation going--unless she wanted to be left to her thoughts. Nevertheless, he thought now was probably a good time to touch on the name topic. He'd rather tell her that much at the very least right now instead of have her hear him call her "Kiley" and react however then. One less thing to overwhelm her in the hectic situation that was certain to arise once they reached what she had known as home growing up was better in his opinion.

"Um, so, how partial are you to your name?" he asked, deciding to speak in English so that the majority of the students were less likely to understand them. Some might, but so what? He just thought he'd try to give her as much privacy as was humanly possible in a place crawling with people here and there as it was winter holiday and therefore no classes were being held. Eventually, it wouldn't matter. If all went well, it wouldn't matter at all. There'd be rumors about her and why she'd left or whatever most likely, but she'd be too busy learning her way around a new place and family because Trey had self-destructed and shown his true colors. He had to.

((Hmm...Not me as I'm not threatening/scaring myself, lol, and not you since I doubt you want to interact with yourself, too. Anyone interested in taking on a character for a thread, PM me? If not, *eyes other staff and then the Destiny acct.*
Annnd done.))

Katya was a fast walker. When she had a destination in mind, that was. She could be turtle-slow when she had no where to go in particular, but when she did, she felt no reason to waste time with walking. So she wasted as little time as possible. She was happy to note that Trevor could keep up, though her legs were shaking a little from the nervousness of knowing that a large confrontation was about to occur. She slowed when he spoke, and turned a wide-eyed stare upon him.

Several steps later, she asked, carefully, "Do you think that I should change my name? Am I..." She shrugged one shoulder. "In danger? A terrible thought dawned on her. What if he had a whole new family, a public one, and didn't want to acknowledge her? Just live in secret, his secret daughter from a former marriage that the press did not need to know about. The thought hurt, and she burned with indignation.

"Well... I have always been Katya," she said, her brows drawing together into a fierce frown as she stared off ahead of them. "I would like to call myself Katya Williams now, if you don't mind." There was something in her tone, despite an obvious effort at supplication, that was a demand. She turned, staring at him as if she was trying to bore holes in him with her stare. Deciding to be frank, she added, "If you do not wish to for me to be introduced as your daughter in a public manner, then I suggest that you tell me. Her wan smile said, I'm tired of secrets.

(Sorry for the suckiness, but here it is! Do we have someone to play Trey? If need be, we can just discuss a general outline of what happens and then roleplay the directly after)

Trevor stared at her for a moment in surprise at that question. What purpose would keeping her a secret that only he and his family knew about serve? After a few brief moments, his eyes returned to a more relaxed state and he offered her a gentle smile as he shook his head. "Why wouldn't I want to acknowledge you publicly?" he asked her, reaching out to rest a hand on her shoulder. "You're my daughter, and I would love it if you would take my last name. I was just unsure if you wanted to go by your real name or to keep what he called you." He let his hand drop for the moment. "Just think about it. It's Kiley, by the way...what your mother and I named you." He gave her a small smile before reaching to take her upper arm in his hand.

"You ready?" he asked, not certain how often she'd side-alonged before, but after giving her a brief moment to prepare, they quickly vanished from the spot at which they were and reappeared to an approximate location near her home. It gave them time to walk and talk a little and for him to make sure his head was in the right place before he went into Trey's house. He knew he had to act calm and the squat man had better play along or else he knew what would happen. He hoped that fear would be enough to control him. It had to be enough or else today would be more tragic than it ought to be.

As soon as they had disapparated, Trevor took a moment to regain his bearings before letting go of his daughter once he was sure she wouldn't fall or throw up or something of the like. If you weren't used to the feeling itself, it was sometimes a bit overwhelming depending on who you were. He gave her a bit longer before moving to take a step. She'd dictate their speed. After all, this could be nerve wrecking for her and he was not about to force her into this situation any more quickly than she was comfortable with. Yes, he wanted to get this over with. Yes, he wanted to have her home. But he also realized that even though this man had done the terrible things he had, she didn't know about it and only knew him as a loving father. That image was about to be robbed from her, and he had no idea how she would take it, but it had to be done.
