From the Daily Prophet issue dated Wednesday, 14th December 2011.
Members of the Imperium Guard spent much of last night investigating the unspeakable murder of a young woman in her own flat last night. Hilda von Gretlinger was only in her mid twenties when she was brutally murdered at least two nights ago in her Diagon Alley apartment. While reporters were not allowed to view the crime scene, we were able to talk with one of the investigators regarding the details.
"It's real bad," stated Thomas Ising. "Real bad. She looks like the monster was trying to make her look like an angel. Real sick-o, he was. No skin, muscles spread out and pinned to look like wings behind her. Her arms were nailed across her chest like one of them skeletons on the muggle ships we all learned about in muggle studies. Pirates? Real bad, it was."
Hilda was discovered last night by a group of friends looking to show her a good time. "It was her birthday yesterday," Eulalia stated through tears. "She agreed to go out with Lance [Ulrich, another Imperium Guard Trainee] and me after we got done with training for the day, but she never showed. We came by to drag her out if we had to (Hilda was prone to her moods.), but we found her like that. It was awful."
Hilda's parents, the esteemed Zelda and Clark von Gretlinger, were on the scene. It was touching to see Clark comforting his wife as he stared on as the Guard removed their daughter's body from the apartment complex. The von Gretlingers do not wish to be contacted by press or well wishers. This is a private time for their families.
The Guard urges any who may have seen any suspicious activity prior to and following the time of the murder to contact them.
