Evie smiled back at him and took another drink from her beer when he proposed that they go to another club. That was a little curious…what was wrong with this one? And she wasn’t so sure about leaving somewhere with a strange man, he could try to do something to her…it wasn’t like she couldn’t handle herself, she knew she could, she had her wand on her and it would be simple and easy enough to take him out…But, Evie would rather avoid that all together.
But, it seemed that her mind was made up for her when this other girl sauntered forward in rather sleazy attire. Evie raised her brows and turned herself away from Kevin so she was sitting forward in her stool. Mmk, maybe it was time for her to leave because this was more trouble than what she wanted. Evie didn’t want to get involved in some dispute between an ex girlfriend or something, that wasn’t why she was hear. She couldn’t help but listen in to their conversation and a few words that she picked up made Evie set her beer down and grab her purse before sliding off the stool and walking away and toward the door to leave.
That lying prick! He was a wizard! He wasn’t some muggle football player, he played Quidditch. She may have lost her memory but she knew what Quidditch was, it was hard not to when your so called ‘husband’ used to play and watched the games on T.V. That was it, wasn’t it? Trevor sent him to keep an eye on her; he must have because how else would she come across a wizard in muggle London and happen to be at the same pub that she was at.
