As she watched his face as she laughed, she saw some thought flicker across his face before he spoke, almost like recognition, but that couldn't be. She had never seen this man before in her life, even if some of his mannerisms reminded her of...someone else. She laughed again and quipped back, "Well why should I? You're handsome enough, Cal..." And it was true, she thought to herself. As far as Sienna was concerned, Cal Landon was definitely a fine piece of man. As they continued to dance, occasionally brushing against each other's body, Sienna watched her companion's eyes dart around the room, thinking he definitely reminded her of Trevor, with his eyes searching the room. That was impossible though, she thought, mentally shaking herself.
As Cal's hands slid up her arms and took her hands in his, 'Vanessa' enjoyed the touch and smiled, chuckling as he twirled her around. He was a good dancer on top of the good looks too, she thought. What a catch, especially for a place like Lure. She had expected to be plagued by half-drunk fools or completely drunk idiots, not be enjoying the company of a handsome, seemingly-capable man. But she wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth, as they say. Hearing his inquiry into her job she had to pause a moment to think of something. She supposed she could be truthful (or as truthful as she could be given the circumstances...) and replied, leaning back into his arms. "I'm actually a spy for my boss...sending his partner in to spy on his rival as his secretary to steal his secrets...that sort of thing." She smirks coyly over her shoulder at him and adds slyly, "But shhh....don't tell anyone..."
