Sienna smiled as Trevor greeted the big horse, Sampson nuzzling against Trevor's hands because they must smell like apples. She laughed when the horse began snuffling at Trevor's pockets like he was certain his buddy wouldn't have shown up without a treat for him. The big gelding huffed indignantly when no treat was forthcoming, but suffered Trevor to get astride him, prancing impatiently as Sienna finished saddling Lillith. Leading the spirited mare out of the stable, Sienna chuckled and said, addressing the gelding, "Behave yourself! You get your treat after your ride, you know that." Smiling over at Trevor she added, "He is such a spoiled brat. Keep a tight rein on him and he should realize that you're the one in change."
Turning her back to Trevor momentarily, Sienna gracefully hoisted herself up into the saddle, settling herself easily. Patting her mare's neck soothingly, Sienna walked her over next to Trevor and his mount, punching Trevor playfully. "Now who's it, Trevie?!" the fiery brunette called, spurring Lillith into a gallop. Horse and rider flew out of the paddock and into the open meadows, Sienna turning toward the top of the nearby hill. The view from the top was breathtaking, the whole valley laid out below like a child's play set. As she neared the top of the rise, Sienna slowed her mount and turned around to look for Trevor. The last thing she wanted was Sampson to have gotten a mind of his own and taken off in the opposite direction, amusing as it would be.
