Trevor had been about to interrupt and ask Sienna how Callid had reacted and what she had spoon fed him as an excuse when Lillith threw Sienna off her back. His eyes widened in surprise, and he quickly dismounted Samson and hurried to the woman's side, helping to hold her steady as she coughed and sputtered. "You ok?" he asked after she had a few moments to calm down. At that point, a smile cracked on his face and he began to laugh at her appearance. Drenched locks surrounded her face and shoulders, and her white shirt was as good as see-through as the water caused it to cling to her body. True, he didn't mind the sight, but that didn't change the fact that it struck him as funny to see her this way after being so used to seeing her so well put together.
"S-sorry!" he managed through a laugh before closing his lips tightly to try to keep from smiling and laughing, but of course, the opposite effect was achieved. A few moments later, however, Trevor regained control, letting his eyes follow her wet locks down to where they rested in the process. Quickly realizing where his attention was, he pulled his eyes back to her face, a slightly different look to his eyes and tone to his voice as he suggested, "M-maybe," he paused, clearing his throat lightly to regain proper use of his vocal cords, "Maybe we should head back so you can get some dry clothes on?"
Yeah, smooth, really smooth there, Trevor, he thought to himself as he walked towards Lillith to grab her reigns and lead her towards Sienna so she could mount her. Hopefully things would go more smoothly once they were back to the house. Between awkward or uncomfortable conversation topics and unruly horses, things hadn't gone so well since their happenstance meeting at the park.
