a little after 8 a.m.
"Yet again I start my week drowning in paperwork," Sienna sighed aloud, surveying the mass of papers covering her desk. It was for precisely that reason that she had decided to come in so early today. Trevor's peons always sent scads of audience requests and other nonsense over the weekends, and since neither she nor Trevor generally came to the office during that time, Sienna was overrun every monday morning. Letters that contained nothing but brown-nosed requests 'for His Lordship's ear,' invitations to be the 'most esteemed Guest of Honor' at some dinner or party, and of course there were the odd bits of hate mail as well; Sienna was lucky enough to get the delightful task of going through it all.
Most of it was quite boring, run-of-the-mill crap, but sometimes there were actually important things in the mix too, so unfortunately, as much as she would've liked to incinerate the pile and be done with it, Sienna sat behind her desk and began sorting. Being too early for Trevor or anyone else to be in the office, the assistant talked aloud softly as she went through the mail. "Yet another letter of flattering balderdash from the Junior Undersecretary for Muggle Relations... brown-nosing little twit," she muttered, placing the letter in the 'who cares?' file (AKA the trash), and moving on to the stack of invitations. There were five 'grand openings' of various shops and such, three requests for 'a mutually beneficial dinner meeting,' and seven invitations to various garden parties, balls, and cocktail parties from various members of society. Being also in charge of keeping Trevor's schedule in line, it was Sienna's job to sort through the invites and figure out which ones would fit into his schedule, then submit those to Trevor for approval.
Oh yes, it was a simply lovely job she had gotten herself, she thought sarcastically. But it was better than being a slave still, and it wasn't all that bad anyway. Just.... mondays. So absorbed in sorting her paperwork was she, that Sienna didn't realize there was someone standing in her office doorway until they spoke. Slightly startled, the brunette looked up to see who was there, and scold them roundly for sneaking about so early.
