The feeling of apparition was one Lance would never get used to, but he could certainly appreciate the feeling that followed. Going from feeling as though he was being squeezed through a tube to feeling as though he had nothing around him but air was one that actually somehow made him feel suddenly relaxed as though all tension was pushed out of him in the process. Then again, maybe it was just that usually apparition took him somewhere he knew would lead to more fun than remaining at a prior location was. And maybe, just maybe, in this case, there were other reasons. After all, he had a beautiful girl beside him on his property, which meant likely soon inside his house and then in his bedroom.
Ok, he needed to relax. This wasn't anything overly new. It was just a different girl. Yes, this girl meant a good deal more to him than any of the others, but it was still nothing new, right? Only, somehow it was. Ok, so maybe he wasn't feeling so relaxed after this bout of appartion. Relax, mate. Deep breath. Look over, smile reassuringly, squeeze her hand. Play it cool. Calm...collected.... Merlin, this was stupid. What the hell was his problem? He'd done this before. And it wasn't like they were even doing anything right now. They were just standing hand in hand on the premises of his (ok, his father's...) property. That's all they were doing right now, and that was all he should be concerned about right now. The now, not the future.
"So, what do you want to do first?" he asked as calmly as he could, managing to hide his anticipation fairly well--at least he thought, but a light, frustrated moan came from deep in his throat. He hardly noticed the sound. Hopefully she'd want a tour of the grounds first, something to give him time to collect himself before he felt himself totally and completely give into his nervousness. It simply wasn't something he was accustomed to. An Ulrich always kept his calm, no matter the situation.
