Teague was closer now, but just..out...of reach. Hermes made a frustrated sound in the back of her throat that grew into a snarl. Her facial expression complimented the sound as she glared at the closer of the two. Snakes had whispered to her of the former Lord Voldemort and his powers. Never look a Dark Lord in the eyes, for they possess and make you do things unwanted. The Parslemouth Dark One rules with an iron fist. From what she understood of that, the former Dark Lord was a snake speaker, but used the snakes like pawns. She used them and respected them as allies, and they seemed to enjoy that treatment. Still, it seemed wise to not look the real enemy in the eye. He was cold, death, and destruction even in his anger. Dangerous. Still, if she pissed him off enough, perhaps he'd outright kill her and end the misery. Or perhaps not. She decided to try anyway.
Scrambling back to her sitting position by the wall, she kept an eye on their feet. Should they strike her, experience warned, the most damaging nonmagical blows would come from there. Roll with the blow and feign worse injuries. Just like before. Unlike before, however, she was more defiant. Teague deserved it, the spoilsport bastard...She spat at his shoes in defiance and anger.

Was he crazy? Probably, at least to a small degree; he did just technically push Trevor out of the way and not in the most graceful way either. He figured the shove he received in return was well deserved, though he wished it hadn't moved him closer to and well within range of Hermes. "You a'right?" he queried as he kept his eyes on Trevor, at least until a snarl came from behind. Teague turned a wary eye on her just in case she decided to incapacitate him now that her prime target was out of reach, and with what he had learned about Mandy, he wouldn't put it past her.
Seemed she had shrunk back close to the wall, in a futile attempt to get away. Not that it would stop Trevor if he decided he wanted to play. A smirk played across his features at least until the little wench spat at his feet. He felt his eye twitch and he clutched his fists before taking a deep breath and counting silently to ten. "Stay calm Teague," he thought to himself "She's expecting retaliation of some sort, so give her something she won't expect..." Taking one last deep breath he mockingly shook off his shoe and fixed the girl with a devilish grin. "Hmm, nice try there love, but you'll have to do better then that."

Trevor gave a slight nod as Teague asked if he was alright. Of course he was--at least physically. "Be even better if this one here would learn her place," he commented, giving Mandy a brief glare. It was then that she spat at Teague's feet, and it amazed him that Teague exercised such restraint, but it was Teague's place to exact his "revenge" as he saw fit. He'd have his fun with her in a little while. First, Teague would have to go--unless he did something that struck his fancy. After all, trying to mold someone to your will didn't quite work if the other person didn't reinforce your thoughts, and considering the other man had no clue what his plans were for this girl....
As it was, he had a clear cut plan, one he thought would be useful. Only time would tell if it would work, but as this girl seemed less than stable, he was hoping it would be accomplished soon. Callid Warren needed to meet his demise--now. This one could be the very one to do it.
No blows came down on her, and that very lack of action spurred her on. She glared up at the two men. They loomed over her like dark angels of death, torturing her by refusing to release her from the mortal coil.
"Well? You've got me bottled like a fly...did you come to stand and stare or will you eventually get along with the actual torture? This isn't half bad compared to Azkaban...a real Motel Six ya know?" Her eyes flowed like quicksilver between Teague and Trevor and back again. Her disjointed monologue continued.
"Ya know, most people are born betweixt their mother's legs...Me? I fell to life between pain and fear...so feed my madness with your torture...no? Just going to gape? Sons of whores...the both of you...did your mothers charge extra for the bestiality, or was it just for fun?" Her mouth ran more foul the longer she talked, and it seemed to embolden her for more taunting filth.

he nodded in agreement with Trevor's statement about the girl needing to learn her place. She was a mighty handful. His attention was brought back to Mandy when the girl began spouting random nonsense. It seemed their lack of action was starting to drive the girl more crazy then she already was, which was an added bonus Teague thought. He tuned out the part of her monologue when she had nicely coined them 'sons of whores'. If had a sickle for every time some one had called him that he figured he'd be a millionaire by now. It was with Mandy's next words that he felt something snap.
"Did your mothers charge extra for the bestiality, or was it just for fun?'
What small restraint he had been trying to hold onto quite literally shattered into a million pieces at her comment toward his mother; his family. Insult him, no problem. Insult his family... Forget wands! He rounded on the girl and let his left fist fly, catching her squarely on the jaw. He was pretty sure she hadn't seen that coming by the stunned look she had given just before his fist connected. He grabbed her by the throat and hauled her to her feet before she could come to her senses. "If you'd like to keep that tongue in that pretty little mouth of yours I'd watch what it chooses to spit out", he hissed, voice dripping with venom, the threat unmistakable. He glared at her a few moment longer before dropping her to the ground and taking a few steps back. He didn't even notice the blood dripping off his knuckles.
The blow was surprising in many aspects. Teague moved like a rat...quick. The death eater's blow had the girl's mouth bleeding and her head ringing. For a precious minute, she couldn't think straight. Everything in her head had been knocked loose for a moment, and it took her awhile to rearrange everthing. The coppery taste was back, and her mouth was quickly filling with blood from where her teeth had cut the inside of her cheek. A sputtering cough evacuated the blood from her mouth and released an impressive spray down her front. Her appearance was ghoulish now, with the black bruises and bright crimson blood. Her cough morphed into giggles and eventually a full fledged cackle that was reminescent of a former Lestrange woman and HER insanity.
Mandy's laughter died down quickly and ended with another small cough.
"You punch like a girl, Teague. Besides, I know your buttons now...If i press too hard, will you kill me? I'm betting that your master here has other uses for me besides death, otherwise I'd be dead already...so...shall I insult mommy some more and get you in trouble for rendering me brain dead? At least you have a heart, unlike your lord...probably has to imperious a woman just to get a kiss..." She was asking for trouble, no doubt. Her ploy was as sadly obvious as it was cruel.

Well, the girl was certainly insane, and MacTáil apparently had a "mummy complex" of some sort. He was learning more by the second, not that he counted either thing as much use to him. MacTáil was the last person he would expect to go rogue, so he doubted he'd ever need that bit of information on how to get his mind out of the game, though he still stored it in some dark recess of his memory. As for the girl's insanity? Well, it was yet to be determined if that bit would be useful. It could mean she would just go further around the bend the more he tortured her and he needed to be careful, but it could also be indicative she would be easy to break and convince to work for him in the way mentioned--not that he needed complete loyalty for that. After all, he was wanting her to kill a Death Eater, something her history would indicate she had no qualms doing. Still, loyalty was much preferred to a simple temporary truce, so that was his goal through all of this.
It was pathetic as the girl's laughter died down and her mouth began to utter words. His raised brow lowered slightly, and he crossed his arms, resting his weight back on his left foot as he listened. It was obvious the girl craved death. That could be an angle to work from should he have to negotiate due to failed "brainwashing." Something worth noting. As she made her jab at him, he chuckled lowly and shook his head. "I'm sure you can't do much better. Flames for hair and snakes for companions. Somebody's people skills are, at the very least, rusty." He paused a moment, knowing that jab would probably mean little to her, but judging by the difficulty of getting the snakes from her in the initial struggle.... "By the way, cobra sends his best wishes...from the grave. Sorry, but I'm afraid he was much too dangerous to keep alive."
((Cobra being dead or alive is irrelevant, lol, as he'd still make the jab, having no qualms with lying. Up to you which it is. Could be useful if he's lying. >>))
Dead? Cobra? No. No, she told them to hide they couldn’t have been found and hurt no no no…
“…no.” Her breathing had gone ragged, her stance slack. She sank into herself, head dropping in defeat.
Dead? Andromeda? Captured? Perseus? Not possible…and yet, didn’t she wake up in a cell? Could they have awoken in a cage?
So, possible. Probable? They would…they WOULD.
In a soft voice, hardly sounding at all like her former fury, she spoke again.
“She. SHE is dead. And you admit by your own hand. Or your orders at least, which is good enough for me…” Slowly, her eyes lifted in a hate filled glare.
“I will carve her name into your face with the splintered ends of your broken fingers. And then I’ll claw your eyes out.” She imagined so much more, but just that one act was all that needed mentioned.

He silently berated himself for his slip of control, though he had to admit that decking the little witch had felt pretty darn good. The predatory grin that took his face when Trevor mentioned dead snakes, cobras in particular, was unmistakable. If the girl was still as attached to those blasted things then her reaction to that statement would be worth everything that had happened today. Mandy it seemed was not one to disappoint. For some reason he found her description of carving names into Trevor's face with busted fingers highly amusing, more so because if anyone was to do the carving it would be Trevor and on her. He laughed knowing full well it would tick the girl off even more.
"Hope you made at least made a belt outta that thing M'Lord, " he quipped. He indicated the door with a nod of his head. "I seem to have wore out my welcome so unless you want me to hang around I'll take my leave, your call." he turned making his way lazily toward the exit, offering a lazy salute to Mandy on his way out. He expected Trevor would have some sort of plan he wished to put into motion and that would be better done without curious eyes and ears hanging about. Maybe if the big guy didn't want him to stay he'd at least hang around the area just to make sure everything went alright.
[Jen your call if you want him around, outside the cell, gone etc... ^^]

Her threats met empty ears. After all, she had been unable to rest in a remotely comfortable position all night, considering her arms were chained so her elbows bent at right angles as she stood, which made sitting impossible without losing circulation. So, even if she managed to break free from her fetters, she would be stiff and hungry and dehydrated (depending upon how long she was chained). The threat was beyond laughable, beyond amusing. It was pathetic. A smirk of amusement met the man's lips as he spoke. "First, you will have to break free of those chains, and then you will have to defeat a host of armed, fed, and rested opponents, but I welcome your attempt. It'd at least give me a story to tell."
At Teague's quip, Trevor chuckled. "You know, that's a great idea. It would go perfectly with the new suit I've ordered. Have it stained to match?" When the man told him he would leave unless he wished otherwise, Trevor nodded. "You can stay and watch, if you'd like, but you know, for now, why don't you go order a belt fashioned, hmm? Then, bring it back." It could be crude for all he cared, just so long as it fit. Keeping the girl's anger up was key.
Damn him, he was right. The smiling bastard had her beat. It was hard for Hermes to focus now that the rage feeding her body was diminishing, replaced with sorrow. She WAS tired. She WAS thirsty and weak. But, still not weak enough to give in. He didn't need to know that though. She dropped her eyes from the glare and focused on breathing. For some reason, the room was spinning slightly, and it made her empty stomach clench in nausea. Was it blood loss? Possible...Grief? Post traumatic stress disorder? Insanity? Who knew, and who cared?
One more idea left, and Teague was leaving. She must appear weak, get im close, and then...well, should Providence provide, she'd wing it from there. One shuddering sigh ripped through her, leaving her deflated and apparently defenseless. Beneath the broken exterior, like hot coals without oxygen, Hermes lurked.

He stopped just about halfway through the door when Trevor added his own joke about perhaps adding it to his new suit. Teague chuckled at the thought. That would rile the girl up even more, not that it was hard to do in the first place. Hell it seemed just by being in the same room he riled the girl up. He stuck his head back through the door and gave Trevor a nod, "Aye, will do sir, one snake belt coming right up." He made a side long glance at Mandy as she seemed to withdraw into herself again. Almost as an after thought he added, "Oh and there's two of em in there," he said pointing to his head, "Don't make me have to do something like save you or anything."
He gave a lazy wave as he exited, shutting the door behind him on his way out. Seeing how he had no idea if Trevor had been lying about the snakes, didn't matter to Teague really, he resigned himself to wandering around the area to find some rope or chain he could Transfigure into a dead snake or two.

"Oh and there's two of em in there. Don't make me have to do something like save you or anything."
Trevor chuckled at Teague's warning but pondered its meaning. Regardless what it meant, however, he knew he wouldn't need to be saved. He had a wand. He had a means of delivering punishment for any sort of pain she might deal him. Besides, she was chained, and she had no idea at the moment where his wand was on his person nor could she reach it if she wanted. Even if she were to deal a blow and he were to take a few moments to recover, surely he could still regain control. Maybe he ought to tighten those chains...just in case. But Trevor, while a lover of being in complete control, felt some element of the unknown, some risk was necessary at the moment. The chains were tight enough until she proved otherwise.
"Two of you, eh?" he said as though trying to make small talk while he pulled a chair from a corner and turned its back to her as he straddled it a few feet away from her, knowing he was just far enough away to be out of reach, though barely, and that, he hoped would drive her crazy. "You know, I've found a lot of women to be two-faced, but I hardly doubt that's what he's referring to. Shall I take a look, my dear? or will you tell me willingly?"
Despite leaning on the wall and deep, calming breaths, the room was beginning to spin more violently. She was either going to pass out or throw up. Or both. Maybe she'd drown in her own vomit. Gross. Teague left, saying something to Trevor. He positioned himself in the chair in front of her and said something else, but she had a hard time hearing with the buzzing in her ears. Yes, this felt like passing out. Why? Well, besides the blood loss, the dehydration, the starvation...okay, stupid question.
Mandy felt her body slowly leaning to the left. For some reason, she couldn't control it and was left adrift like a sinking vessel. Women and children first, man the lifeboats, she's going down! She shook her head slowly to try and clear it. For somereason, Hermes was pleased. Mandy, however, was just confused.

"Look at me," Trevor said, noticing the girl begin to lean. He would have to get her something on a sponge soon to keep her blood sugar from dropping too far amongst other things, but first he wanted to know just what Teague meant by, "There are two of them in there," and legilimency was just the way to do it. He'd at least dig for the recent memory of her encounter with Teague and then the one prior, but if he could find something worthy of noting while in the process, it certainly wouldn't hurt--something, anything to use against her and spur this thing on. All he needed was one moment for her eyes to lock with his to begin the spell. Given the rarity of actual knowledge of the spell's existence, he figured it was unlikely she was an Occlumens, but he'd have to see. Not that it mattered much in the long run. Unless she was highly skilled, her abilities to block him would be weakened as it was.
