The petite redhead smirked as Bast responded cheekily, and couldn't help the girlish giggle that escaped her as she listened. If she stopped to think about it, the man did have a point. They had spent the better part of the evening together so she had to admit they did know just a bit about each other. When Bast poured them each a shot of whiskey, Mae grinned wolfishly and gladly joined him in downing the shot, enjoying the wonderful burn of the alcohol. Placing the empty shot glass next to her empty tumbler Mae shot him a sultry smirk and quipped, "You know, if I didn't know any better, love, I'd say you were trying to get me drunk with all this whiskey..." After a moment she chuckled and added, "Be that as it may, you'll have to try much harder to succeed. I've got a much heartier constitution than it seems," the Garou insinuated, green eyes dancing with mirth.
Looking up at the clock over the bar the petite Garou blinked in surprise a few times when she realized what time it was. It was nearly one in the morning! She groaned as she realized she would only get a few hours of sleep tonight (or this morning, rather) before she had to go in to work. Five in the morning was just ungodly early, she complained silently. "I suppose you've missed your chance to 'make a repeat customer out of me', Bast; I need to get to bed, I'm afraid," Mae pouted slightly. Stupid Trevor, changing plans...messing stuff up, she grumbled silently. She let out a barely audible whine and sighed in frustration. She was enjoying her time with the bartender and didn't want the night to end...
