Mae stood less than five feet in front of the terrified human, her blood-scented breath rolling over him and only adding to his terror. THe man was utterly frozen by fear of the two monstrous wolves surrounding him, the scent of it further enraging their bloodlust and anticipation. The smaller Garou closed the distance between herself and their target and bared her blood-stained fangs in a savage snarl. Noticing that Soren had climbed up the boulder behind him, the man whipped around to look at him. Unfortunately for the man's well-bring, when he spun to face Soren his backpack slapped smack into Mae's nose. Any chance of the female Garou letting her brother claim the kill evaporated in that instant as she let out an inhuman roar of rage and annoyance.
Swiping at the man's back with one paw, she ripped the backpack from his back, then used her other paw to lay open the man's back with her claws, spraying herself and the ground around them with blood. The human let out a high-pitched wail of pain at the blows from Mae, falling to his knees and hitting his head as he did so. At the smell of fresh blood, Maeve snarled and knocked the man to his back, standing over him with her fangs bared as he pleaded for mercy. Mercy? Mercy was for the weak, and a Garou was never weak. Maintaining eye contact with the man, Mae slowly raked one paw down his body, spilling his blood and entrails across his stomach and the ground, eliciting another wail of agony from him. The man frantically tried to hold his insides in and scramble away from the the Garou, but Maeve simply grabbed his leg and shook him like a doll until his cries and struggles stopped. When she finally dropped the corpse to the ground and stood back, she wondered idly if there were any insides left in the man's body at all...
