Gerard was so shocked and pleased by what Lissianna said and did that he really couldn't think of anything to say. He did smile back to her, though, and returned the hug both nervously and eagerly. He didn't really want to go, but... if he didn't show up to lunch, he knew Gem at least would worry.
"Yes, so do I," he murmured, then turned to go, glancing over his shoulder just before he left. "Au revoir, Liss!" he called back to her, lapsing into French in his nervous state, then stuffed his map into his pocket and ran off down the corridor, his face bright red with embarrassment and pleasure. He couldn't wait to see the young woman again...
"Excuse me, Professor Blackthorne?"
The black wolf curled up on the large dog cushion in the corner raised its head sleepily, then got to its feet, yawning hugely before transforming back into the black-haired young woman. Urania hadn't slept much the night before; it wasn't really anyone's fault, really, since she had enjoyed herself, but still, she was going to have to mention to Milo that she did enjoy her rest. She'd been about to take a nap during the lunch hour, but now someone -- a young woman, judging by the voice -- was knocking on her door, asking for her. She'd better go and see what it was, at least.
Moving over to the door and straightening her tousled hair, Urania undid the lock and tugged the door open just far enough that she could see out. The young woman outside smelled strongly of nervousness, Urania's nose noticed, so she opened the door a little wider and smiled warmly at her, ignoring her tiredness for the sake of making this girl more at her ease.
"I'm Professor Blackthorne... how may I help you, dear?" she asked, her voice soothing even as her head tilted in dog-like -- or rather, wolf-like --curiosity.
