PATRONUS: Callid’s patronus is a weasel. More precisely, it is a black footed ferret, the same as his animagus.
BOGGART: Callid has a fear of tight spaces, or perhaps more specifically, of being trapped. This fear is a driving motivator for many of his actions and decisions. He always needs a way out of any given situation and will not allow himself to be trapped. Needless to say, he’s gotten extremely good at weaseling out of many kinds of situation.
MIRROR OF ERISED: Callid desires power and ultimate control over any situation. Obviously it is an inevitably futile pursuit, but it’s still one that he considers his overall purpose.
HABITS: Callid is very cool and calculating. It’s hard not to find a time where he’s not scheming, sitting and thinking over every angle of a plot or situation. He’ll pace, drum his fingers, and a variety of other little mindless things while doing so.
PET PEEVE: Perhaps hypocritically, people who actively defy him annoy Callid the most. People who plot against him or get in his way are usually swiftly dealt with.
STRENGTHS:
• Calculating. Callid plots and ensures that he looks at every angle of a situation in all of his endeavors. He makes sure that he knows all potential possibilities and outcomes and always tries to have a way out or a backup plan.
• Resourceful. If something exists that will give him an upper hand, Callid will inevitably get his hands on it. He has a vast library which he extensively researches from. He is good at improvising (though he doesn’t like to) and has come up with a variety of his own spells and magical items.
• Manipulation. Callid is a master at the art of manipulation. If there’s a way he can do something without getting his hands dirty, he’ll use it. He knows how to get what he wants from others.
• Dueling. Callid constantly practices his wandwork, spells, and the art of dueling. He works daily to ensure that he is in top shape should the occurrence be needed where he must do something himself. He also knows a vast array of spells, including many obscure and rarely known ones.
WEAKNESSES:
• Arrogance/Paranoia. Callid’s personality is a constant balance struggle between his arrogance and paranoia of being arrogant. Only when these two factors are in complete balance will this not be one of his biggest weaknesses. Unfortunately this is never the case.
• Over-analysis. Though his calculating attitude can work in his favor, it can also work against him. It can lead to him overanalyzing situations, which can lead to large periods of inaction and indecisiveness.
• Accumulation of Enemies. Callid’s manipulation of others and loyalty only to himself tends to earn him many enemies. It has become virtually impossible to acquire allies, at least true ones. He is also completely untrustworthy. Due to all the lies and deceit that Callid has made, trust is not a luxury he can obtain anymore.
TRAITS:
There are few words that would better describe Callid than manipulative, cunning, sly, and two-faced. Callid works for his own gain, and steps on all those needed, whether ally or enemy, in order to accomplish something. He is adept at using other people and prefers to trick others into doing his own dirty work. He is a very capable person, however, and has been known to weasel his way out of tight situations. He always ensures he has a way out of any given situation. Unfortunately, for all his cunning Callid cannot usually help overanalyzing situations. This can lead to periods of inactivity and indecision, things Callid particularly hates.
Furthermore, he is highly untrustworthy and disloyal. His alliances are temporary at best and the moment a better offer appears to him, he takes it. Oftentimes he'll play both sides against the middle so that he can take advantage of it and rise out on top. This inevitably leads to an accumulation of enemies, not that Callid particularly cares. He is pure selfishness incarnate. He has not a thought or care for anyone but himself, and behaves accordingly. Thusly he is extremely power hungry. Callid’s only real goals in life is to have as much power and control as he possibly can.

HISTORY:
Childhood
Callid Warren was born into a wealthy pureblood family in Western England. He never knew his father, who was killed shortly after his birth by his own fellow Death Eaters over a disagreement in payment funds. His mother was a drunk who was rarely home, and often out on fancy yacht trips or the like. To convince herself that she was a good mother, she would buy him expensive gifts or take him on long trips. Most of the time, though, he was left at home.
It was on one of those trips, however, that he came into possession of a fragment of the Blarney Stone. According to legend, the stone had a spell placed upon it by ancient wizards to give anyone who touched it the ability to persuade anyone of anything. Muggles too had known about the stone, but it was taken out of their world and replaced with a fake stone long ago. Somewhere along the line someone had fed the Muggles a bit of information about it, saying they had to kiss it in order to gain the ability. This however, is believed to have been a joke upon them by a known Muggle-hater, as any simple touch would suffice. At any rate, Callid had stolen a piece of the real stone from its wizarding location in what was the first of many crimes to come. He shaped the stone fragment and attached it to a cord that he generally wears around his neck. He has only ever used it once and much rather prefers to use his own skills to manipulate others.
Sorted into Slytherin at Hogwarts, of course, he looked out for his number one priority: himself. He was slightly quiet and secluded, generally keeping to himself. In his mind there was no such thing as "friends", just people to be used for your own benefit. Little else could be said of his time in Hogwarts.
Before the Takeover
Yearning for even more power once out of school, he of course turned to the most powerful wizard of them all... or so he had thought. Voldemort had went and gotten himself permanently destroyed despite all his claims of immortality. All that was left from his domain were the remnant populations of fellow death eaters. Many of them had been rounded up, including himself. Yet somehow at his own trial he managed to convince the Judge of his innocence despite countless numbers of first-hand witnesses of his deeds. A master at the fine art of weaseling, it still remains a mystery to many today as to how he pulled that one off. The real answer, though, is that it was the only time he resorted to using the Blarney Stone.
In the following eight years, Callid took to his manor. It was constructed from hybrid muggle/magic technology that allowed for optimum defense. Callid was not so arrogant to label Muggles and Mudbloods as useless: worthless, yes, useless no. He amassed vast quantities of ancient and powerful texts on magic using money he blackmailed out of many major companies and people, practicing and learning many advanced and forgotten brands of magic.
Callid returned to join the Death Eaters when Derrin White reassembled them, but had his own plans to use them all so that he was the one who gained the power. He learned of an internal coup, headed by Trevor Williams. Rather than use this information against him as a potential threat, Callid let Trevor dispose of White and take charge. In the meantime he began to plot against Trevor, enlisting the aid of his fellow Death Eaters Sienna Faber and Felix Meyers.
Since the Takeover
After the takeover, Callid's tactics were to bide his time even further still, waiting for an opportune moment to strike. Unfortunately, Sienna’s blood status and known conspiracies against Trevor led to her capture and enslavement. Callid knew Trevor wouldn't be foolish enough to attack him after his failed attempt to kill Callid in his own home. After all, he had seen a portion of the defenses of Callid's manor. Even still, Callid withdrew slightly to plot out his next moves. He decided the best thing to do would be to let Trevor slip into arrogance and a false sense of security. In the meantime he would see what he could do with Sienna. He looked into the prospects of her escaping, reobtaining her aid, and even perhaps getting her to kill Trevor, if possible.
Callid met with Trevor and proposed a truce. In actuality the only reason Callid wanted to kill Trevor was because he was trying to kill him (and vice versa). Callid proposed a truce between the two of them, and in return he simply asked for a small portion of power beneath Trevor's rule. He complied, but Callid doubts that he actually bought it. Callid now governs over a small portion of southern England, but of course was subjugated to Trevor as well as a few others. Callid knew that the biggest reason for being ordained this power was so that he would be far from Trevor and out of his hair, which all in all he didn't mind.
After a time of planning and waiting, Callid broke out his only accomplice left, Sienna Faber, who had been enslaved by the regime. He had meetings with her on how to dispose of Williams, and even with a few others such as Fierro Darque, but nothing came from them. Callid became rather reclusive after that and cut off all but essential contact. His meetings with even Sienna were cut off, as he lost all of his faith in his one-time partner. Even as he continued to plot, the ever present threat of Trevor still loomed as he sent a would-be assassin to his manor. Callid quickly disposed of her of course, and made sure to gloat a little to Trevor. Still, Callid had become slightly bitter that he had yet to come up with a foolproof plan he could enact, but that is slowly changing. It is time for action, and Callid is hell bent on triggering several series of events that could ultimately lead to the downfall of Williams and his regime.
