"I'm sure."
That was all it took. Sofi stopped her uncertain rambling, her mouth remaining open for a moment before closing tightly, a hesitant grin twisting her lips up slightly. So he'd been being serious, then... wow. That made her feel a bit giddy, to be honest: it was like finding out the present you'd accidentally opened before Christmas was something you were going to be allowed to keep, rather than having to give it back.
She wasn't really sure what to do, now, really. Justin didn't seem like he was going to be expounding on his "I'm sure" anytime soon... he seemed content to sit in silence. He wasn't even really looking at her, which was... weird. Sofi was no expert, but she was pretty sure that people who'd just agreed to what they'd agreed to at least took the time to give the other person a glance...
"So, uh... How about we go to Araelia's a bit? Need to tell her, and then, uh, we can come back...play some basketball, see what happens?"
"... right. Yeah." Sofi's voice came out a bit flat and slightly lower than normal, but mostly it was just due to surprise over this sudden change of topic. Justin was right; Araelia -- who was related to him and, more importantly, Pandora -- did need to know what had happened. Summer, her younger sister, would probably already know, seeing as she was at the school over the holidays. But Araelia... Araelia had gone home... she wouldn't know, unless someone took the time to fill her in.
"C'mon, then," she stated abruptly, scooting towards the edge of the bed so she'd be able to stand, "How'll we go? Floo? It'd be easier than trying to manage Side-Along... I dunno 'bout you, but I haven't got much practice at it, and I haven't got my wand, so I couldn't go by m'self..."
