I do believe these excerpts sum up the looks of Trevor's flat before and after Evie. Obviously, most of it still resembles how it was before, though by now it is probably fairly evenly meshed.
From 'Date' on New Time:
With that, Trevor apparated them out to his flat, walking up to the front door and using his wand to unlock the thing, stepping aside for her to go in (he figured carrying her in would be overkill and just plain weird) before coming in and closing and relocking the door behind them, looking around the place, his boots sounding on the hardwood floors as he walked in. The walls were, unfortunately, white, seeing as he hadn't really lived in it, and besides that he was all for simplicity. From 'Rude Awakening' on SF:
The couch was a black leather material, and there was an armchair with matching design. A coffee table of a darkly stained wood was situated at an angle before the couch and armchair, two glass panels in place where wood should be for the majority of it. Side tables of matching design were on either side of the couch (the armchair close enough the one side table could be used by its occupant). An area rug was beneath the furniture of an off-white-ish color, soft and comfy to walk on barefoot but not all too shaggy.
Window treatments were simple decorative hooks on either side holding up sheer black curtains that hung down in the middle, sides going down to the floor and tied back with a thin, nearly invisible string and the pull down shades. A sunroof was above the seating area, though for obvious reasons, there was a cover that drew across it, a pole resting in the corner near the fireplace adjacent to the seating arrangement to be used to pull it back and forth whether one wanted it open, the electric fireplace's mantlepiece of stained wood matching the other furniture. Nothing rested upon it, however, blank, just as the walls.
To the left once one left the entryway that lead into the sitting area lay the bedrooms: one master bedroom (matching his whole black and white thing he seemed to carry on quite often, only one wall within painted, and that was the one the bed's mahogany headboard was against. it had mahogany nightstands on either side, and a mahogany trunk at the foot of the bed, maroon comforter lay over it, matching bedskirt around and some black and maroon pillows upon it, black sheet beneath it and fitted sheet over the mattress) and with master bath (shower and tub, two sinks, the whole shabang), and a couple guest rooms with just the bare necessities and nowhere near as much color, and a bathroom at the end of the hall (guest rooms across from each other).
To the right of the sitting room lay the kitchen. The wall came out, a cut-out in it overlooking the sitting room like a little informal eating area. A sink was on the counter behind it and the dishwasher built in. If the eye followed that wall past the little cutout for a 'doorway' there was a fridge and next to that a wrap-around counter, cabinets above it and beneath it. Near the fridge was a stove/oven and then the counter continued around to another sink, cabinets on either side of the window it had. There, there was another doorway out from the kitchen into the dining 'room' that was near the back wall and a sliding glass door, nothing really partitioning it from the sitting room.
Within this formal dining room, there was a fairly long, mahogany table with two chairs on either side, a chair on either end, electric chandelier hanging pretty low above it. A table leaf and a couple more chairs were within the garage storage area. that was detatched from the house and a few feet away on the right side (if coming from the front or inside of the house). There was not much else in the cold garage besides the cement floors and three walls and part-wall with door.
Coming to a stop near the 'nook', he placed an elbow on it, leaning against it and looking over at Evie, wanting to see her reaction to what little she'd seen --entry way, sitting room, maybe part of the kitchen. What do you think?
It was only a few moments later that the two arrived at Trevor's flats in that small clearing somewhere on the border between Ireland and England. Trevor had toned down the decor and painted the walls to be different colors besides black. He had heard Evie complain on occasion about white walls, so he'd known not to go with that. Overall, the place looked nice and seemed to have a woman's touch, yet it was neither too masculine nor too feminine. The man quickly took down the defenses necessary to get into the house before replacing them and carrying her into "their" room. There are also common defensive spells on the home.
Scattered throughout the bedroom were pictures of the two of them: their wedding, trips to various places around the world, hanging out, kissing in a park at a barbecue, etc. Some were charmed to evoke a memory if she were to look at them, others not. He couldn't have her "remembering" far too much or she might question it, but at the same time, if she "remembered" something, it would keep her from going all kick ass on him and harming him. He set her down on the bed, carefully placing her head on the pillow and covering her with the blankets. He slipped off the ring Casey had given her thirteen years ago and put on the one he had chosen for her. It was simple, but it was elegant and beautiful. It suited her in his mind.
- Anti-apparition spell. Resultantly, one has to walk a distance from the flat before being able to apparate, but it's all for the greater good, no? Safety.
-Fidelus Charm. Morgana serves as secret keeper. The only people who know its location are himself, Evie, and Morgana.
-Unplottable Charm. This home is unplottable and cannot be found with such things as tracking spells and the like.
-And of course, there are custom locking spells. Can't just use the norm, right? Too easy to break in.
