From the Cambridge Post issue dated Thursday, 13th October 2011.
Jason Brandt, son of revered King's College Classics professor Matthew Brandt, was admitted to the emergency room last night with injuries matching those of a recent string of wild animal attacks. Witnesses say that Mr. Brandt fought off a medium-sized animal before he was brought into the local hospital with severe injuries to his torso and lower body. He has made it through surgery, though he faces slim chances of post-op survival.
Professor Brandt did not comment when asked about this attack. The hospital staff does not have any comment nor do they have an estimated time of release for Mr. Brandt.
It is currently unknown what is causing these wild animal attacks, but the general population is advised to stay indoors after sunset until all threats can be eliminated.
