10:00 p.m.
It had been only five days since he'd gone out to a pub, but it had been more than enough. This time, however, he'd decided he wanted something a little stronger than what The Kennel had to offer, so he'd gone off to a better area of muggle London to an old, beautiful church that had been converted to an Abby. In a way, it was a little funny to him. After all, a church that likely prohibited alcohol consumption to its members now a pub... How was that for irony? And yes, he was once again overthinking things, but that was how he was, and since he was still sober, it was agitating him and didn't seem to be leaving him.
Kevin sighed as he walked through the double doors and into the loud group of men. A few of the regulars remembered him from the few times he'd come here to enjoy a few drinks and greeted him. Here, he wasn't known as either of the names he'd ever gone by. Here, he was going by Justin Myers. Simple enough to remember. Muggles didn't know who he was, and the few wizards who dared come around here in the muggle world generally knew not to question things. They wanted their anonymity, too, especially since most of them knew his position as an Imperium Guard. No need to bug him, right?
Kevin sat himself down in the corner near a window after he got himself some ale. He leaned back in his chair, taking a sip of his drink and nearly spitting it out as he saw someone familiar in the streets that was walking towards the pub, whether to cross the street or to go in was yet to be seen. Merlin, he'd not had to deal with this situation before. He'd yet to bump into someone who was a friend. Maybe he could just ignore the situation. Perhaps he was overreacting. She wouldn't recognize him as a friend unless she'd known Kevin as such, and so he was safe, right?
((Sorry, it's crap, but I had to really hurry the ending because of dad. x.x))
