Well it certainty was a quaint little school, Isabelle would give Hogwarts that. This history of course was interesting. Before being enrolled Isabelle and her parents were given the whole run of the history of the school, they were shown the spots where the battles of the revolution had taken place. They were shown where the enemy past headmaster Dumbledore took his last breath. They even were privileged enough to be shown the kitchens, the grounds, and be given an introduction to quidditch. It had not been allowed at Beauxbaton because it was not lady like, however, as an ambassador's daughter she had been briefed adequetly and she had the foresight to attend the quidditch world cup just before her last semester had commenced at Beauxbaton. She even had her father buy her a broom and get her private lessons to keep up. If flying was what she needed to do, she would do it.
Of course, now that she was here it was time to begin. Her parents had already accepted her tuition and stay at the school. She had been sorted into the emerald shaded house of Slytherine and for good reason. From all the research she had done and all she had been told by her briefing that Slytherine was the house that she would likely belong to. It was the house of the Dark Lord and most who followed in his footsteps. It was the house of the revolution and most of the great current wizards had graduated from that house with the highest honors. She would be the next great witch to emerge if she had anything to do it. Six years behind in this school was a challenge to make up of course, but she would do it with all the grace and bearing that she possessed.
Straightening her white suit that greatly resembled her old school uniform Isabelle wandered the hallways. It seemed that finals were in progress so she would be well left alone for now. She had plenty to look at for sure. Plenty to keep herself occupied both in thought and in preparation. She needed to make an entrence at this Yule Ball she was invited to. She needed a dress in her new house color. She needed exquisite accessories and couture everything. She was going to be the talk of the winter break so much so that it would follow her all the way to her first and final semester at Hogwarts. She had been prepared for moments like this and she would not loose the advantages that she had gained from both this little excersion and her previous training and expertise.
Looking down the long ancient hallway of the school Isabelle fought a shiver. It was colder than she was use to. Far Far colder. The gray fur that was around the base of her gloves and the matching fur around her collar was the only thing keeping her from doing so. Goodness, she was going to need a whole new wardrobe for this. More than a full wardrobe. Looking down the hall she took in the view and smiled as best she could. This was going to be a new beginning and her greatest triumph yet. She would show her parents that she could succeed, uphold the family honor, blossom, and be a credit to them. Indeed this was the new frontier- the greatest yet.
