The plan was in action and operation "Bust Damien, Colin, and Everyone Else Out of Azkaban to Send Williams a Message" was a go. Ok, so perhaps that wasn't the catchiest of titles, but Ben didn't have time to think of a better one. At the moment he was crawling along the walls of the prison as fast as his tiny little gecko legs would allow him, trying to get to Colin's cell to enact the next phase of the plan. With him, he had as many spare wands as he was able to get his hands on, which really didn't amount to all that many considering how hard it was to get them these days. Other than that, all they had as far as support in the coming battle would be their wits and cunning.
Ben was pretty excited about what was to come. He'd never done a jailbreak before, and already the adrenaline was pumping and he loved it. He wasn't sure how this would work or what lied ahead: he'd never been much of a planner, always more of a reactor. He was letting Colin work that end out. As for Damien... well, the Death Eaters had done a real number on him. He was extremely glum and apathetic, but Ben hoped the prospect of freedom would change that. At the very least, getting him out of here and away from those damned dementors would help.
Having finally reached the high security cell block, Ben creeped along the walls up to Colin's cell. He was so tiny and aptly colored that it was nearly impossible to see him. He generally stuck to walls if he could help it for those very reasons. He didn't need to be stepped on by some blundering security guard. Having finally reached the cell, he crawled in and could see Colin sitting in his usual corner. Rather than transform back, which could potentially be stupid should a guard happen to walk by at that moment, he let out a couple of gecko calls to alert Colin that he was there. Being so small, it was hard to see things at long distances, so it was Colin's job to give the signal as to when the coast was clear. All was going according to plan thus far.
