[/size]Julia’s face fell for a moment when he confirmed her wand had been broken. She knew she shouldn’t have expected any better, but she had loved that wand. It seemed that Trevor was going to allow her to get a new one, though. That was a relief. There had been a brief moment where she worried about the fact that a Seer technically doesn’t need a wand. It would make coming and going much easier, obviously, but there were other modes of transportation. Not that she was complaining about getting a wand of course. She just hoped the paperwork could be completed quickly, but until then she could at least gather as much of her old life as possible without a wand. ”Thank you.”
Julia looked down at the rags she was wearing, the state of her clothes really registering once Trevor pointed it out. Garbage compared to any witch’s clothing, not even thinking about what she wore before running. Everything about her was truly a shadow of the girl she had once been, except perhaps her personality. No… a nice makeover would be in order. A new wardrobe. Some good meals would get her back to her prior weight, though she hadn’t had much weight to spare when she was caught. ”I should have at least one outfit that will fit me well enough back at my family’s house. If you have floo powder and no objection to it, I could go get them once I have the necklace.” Assuming she could get there, of course. She wasn’t sure what protections her brother had placed on the family estate.
And then there was the question of money. Their parents had left them more than enough that even if James had been spending lavishly, which she doubted he had, there would be enough for Julia to live comfortably; but she would need the key from her house to get into the vault. ”No. I think you have answered all of my questions.” Now it was just a matter of doing everything she needed to do. Lay low for a while, keep Trevor happy until she could find a way to seek out people who were resisting the current government and figure out a way to help them without it being obvious to Trevor. She would be toeing a fine, fine line… ”I can’t say how glad I am to be getting out of this place.”
