As far as Trevor knew, The Hog's Head was far too filthy and filled with vermin for Darque or Warren to ever consider going, which made it, in his opinion, the best place to meet to discuss anything regarding them. It was usually crowded enough that something was going on loudly enough to distract people from two people sitting in a corner table conducting business. He knew from prior experience all sorts of things went down here that the majority of people might consider shady and dangerous, so even when other patrons weren't overly rowdy, they knew to avoid overhearring anything that could potentially get them involved in something "bad for their health."
Tonight, he had scheduled to meet with Teague. There was to be a meeting with a select few Death Eaters in his office at Puxley's to discuss a secret plan regarding his safety the morning of the execution, and since Teague had supposedly been working to gain Darque's trust, it was going to be his job to make sure Darque did not catch wind or suspect. The Minister of Magic needed to be there, needed to be up front, but Darque was no fool. If he knew that Trevor planned to have seven of his most trusted followers polyjuice as him so that he wouldn't be hit, Darque would not go up there simply for the fact that the resistance groups might get it in their head striking against Darque would be enough to rattle some cages in the wizarding world.
Frankly, Trevor felt they would be doing him a favor. One enemy out of the way was one enemy out of the way, and while he would like the pleasure himself, he had other more pertinent things to do with his day than sit around plotting Darque or Warren's demise as his lack of action over the past several months since he'd found out of Darque's disease and the year or so since he knew Warren was not loyal only proved. He'd been working on a plan of late, but between his duties as head of the wizarding world here in the UK and being a father, he hadn't been able to finalize anything. Still, Darque not having the opportunity to create dopplegangers himself was a backhanded way of leaving it to fate, and he didn't think it would prove anything against him to Darque other than that he was smarter, if Darque didn't think to try the same himself.
Trevor had taken the time to work on manipulating his facial features enough that the average person would be thrown off by his appearance and not suspect who he was and had come down here five minutes before the hour. Teague should be arriving any moment. Their meeting had been planned for eleven, and by his calculations, the hour was quickly nearing.
