Milo was silent as the headmaster and captain exchanged brief words and the Captain looked out the window toward the gold speck on the far-off Quidditch pitch. It seemed he was just as confused as the rest of them in the long run to be asking them questions, though he supposed that was just the way things were with investigations. They had to cover all their bases or be accused of certain misdeeds, he guessed. Milo shrugged at the captain's first question. "I don't know why someone would kill a unicorn of all things, Captain, but it doesn't bode well. But, I couldn't help but think of the Williams girls when I saw it. I mean, they're 'foals,' for all intents and purposes as innocent as one in theory. What if this is a sign of what to come if certain steps aren't taken?"
Maybe he was thinking too far outside the box. He had no idea, but hey, the captain had asked for their two cents. Oh, and he'd asked for why they were here. "Annnd no idea about the headmaster, sir, but I was here doing rounds to make sure no students were being naughty." He sighed, shaking his head. "I saw the blood, and then the headmaster came out of nowhere." It was really strange, now that he thought of it, but there was no way the headmaster could have smeared blood all over the hall and then flash down to the Quidditch pitch and be back so quickly. Then again, maybe he had done all this earlier. The blood hadn't been warm, after all. He would have had time. Perhaps he had been coming here to clean up after himself and hadn't counted on someone else seeing. Milo gulped, looking at the headmaster suspiciously.
