Snow was seemingly pouring from every cloud that could be called into the sky above her head. Just because the weather had changed didn't stop Lina from needing a drink, or some more money. Those two things led her to a nearby place called the Abbey. The red head had to admit, standing outside and looking up at the building with her blue-green eyes, that it was pretty cool. Different, and the young woman was someone who liked different. Different typically meant unpredictable, and she liked being unpredictable. She pushed past the doors with one hand, unwrapping the thick blue scarf from around her face so she could finally breath properly.
The air was warm, but the place was packed. Some sort of game was on, though she didn't think it was the season for that sort of thing. Maybe they were watching a boxing match instead or something? The red head wasn't paying much attention to the tvs, instead she pulled her black leather jacket off and stomped her booted feet off on the mat just inside the doors. But it was certainly warm in this place, and she couldn't help but be glad for the warmth. She was currently holed up at a muggle motel down the ways, and for some reason the heater wasn't working right. A slight little sigh escaped the red head, and she rolled her shoulders before taking a long look around. Just looking for a good spot to sit, or so it seemed, because she didn't let her odd colored gaze linger too long on anyone person. But she was already eyeballing marks.
After a quick minute, she spotted a clear spot at the bar and made her way over. Fingers quickly tapping on the bar, and she ordered straight vodka on the rocks, three fingers worth. Like the good Russian she was. You could even read the accent in her voice, and tonight she did nothing to hide it. No tonight, she would be here more for the drinks than the money, and she'd stumble back the way she came to huddle in that small room under some blankets before passing out in a drunken stupor. She just needed enough cash to pay off the tab before leaving. So she had to do that before she got too drunk, because that was when she got sloppy.
The vodka hit the bar top in front of her, and a small smile lit on Lina's lips before she nodded at the bar keep and took a good taste of the stuff. Good vodka, from the way it burned down her throat. Enough of these, and she'd be just dandy for the night. No nightmares, no wandering thoughts, no what ifs or maybe I should haves. Nothing but sweet, sweet blackened sleep and general rumblings of a drunk to no one. Unless she went the other way and decided to go home with someone tonight. But that didn't seem like the right option tonight, not with how she was feeling. Instead, the red head looked around the room again as some of the locals to her right started yelling at the tv. Time to pick a mark. More than five of these drinks and she'd be too far gone to lift a pocket properly. And Lina drank fast, so the clock was ticking. She took another drink, trying to pick someone out of the crowd.
