”Then don’t!”
That nearly made Nia laugh, really it did. First Soren was demanding to know what she'd done to him (completely ignoring her statement that she hadn't done a thing) and acting as though he would settle for nothing less than a fight, and now... now he apparently wanted nothing of the kind. The switch amused her deeply, even as it relieved her; she definitely wasn't in top condition, and therefore would've lost any sort of physical fight within a nastily short time. Her only hope of winning had come from the fact that she could do wandless magic, which Soren seemed, or at least acted, unfamiliar with.
"Then I won't," she returned calmly, bending down to grab up her cloak again. It felt nice to put the warm garment back around her shoulders, to fasten the buttons so that it kept her body entirely warm. Soren straightened and smirked at her, and Urania stared back calmly, mentally racing to figure out yet another of his abrupt shifts in demeanor, only to catch another scent, from somewhere fairly far away. She couldn't exactly tell what it was, but the thought that it might be another member of Soren's pack had her stiffening slightly.
He did say that if I met any of the others, they might not be so nice... Now might be a good time to get going, if more Garou are headed this way... I have no intention of dying today!
”I don’t care what you do, but I have better things to do than screw around with a human who doesn’t know her place.”
"Oh, I know it," she called at his back, which he had turned to her when he began to walk away, "I know it perfectly. It's just not in your world, Soren." She laughed, then, unable to keep in the gleeful sound any longer. "It was good talking with you!" she added, bending down to pick up her wand and tuck it back into her cloak, "I'll be sure and keep my nose on the lookout for you... you can trust me on that..."
And, with that little tease-threat-promise mixture hanging in the cold air, she shifted, dropping to all fours and taking off straightaway into a run, adding a parting howl-bark to the sounds of her departure in the air.
Now to get away, before the others decide I make a fun target....
[... is it done? I have no idea. I leave that to you, lol. XD]
