I need to calculate
[/font]--------------------------------------------------Name:Melissa Ann McCarthy
Age | B-day: Seventeen| 4th August 1994
House | Year: Former Hufflepuff - was pulled from the school at the beginning of her sixth year
Bloodline:Muggle born
Position: Slave
Side: Neutral - having no opinion means she stays out of trouble
Occupation: N/A
Wand: 9inch, Lynx hair, silver birch
Hair: Melissa's hair is a chestnut brown, and is long as well. Back when she was in school she kept it tidy, but now she doesn't have the time - not that anyone cares enough too look.
Eyes: A light sort of greeny/grey
Height: 5ft 3
Weight: 107 lbs
Markings: The most noticeable things about Melissa are her two scars, the first on her neck from her first collaring. The man who'd been sent to train her had been new, and placed the cold metal bar far too tight. Between it rubbing and Lissy trying to pull at it, some of the metal sliced into the side of her neck. Even though it was years ago she has been left with a three inch scar on the right side.
Her second scar is more hidden, and self inflicted. She did it on her first night in slavery, the night after her wand had been broken. It wasn't really a self harming act, well any more than tattooing yourself. Lissy had scratched a W into her side, carefully placed so her bra covered it. It stood as a reminder for Melissa that, no matter what anyone else said, she was a Witch and would get another wand.

[/blockquote]What creates my own madness
--------------------------------------------------Phobia: Melissa is terrified of pain, if you want to make her suffer, hurt her. She has a seriously low tolerance for pain, so it is a very effective way of punishing her.
Her other largest fear is never leaving slavery. She can't bare the idea of being a possession forever.
Habit: -Biting her lip
- pushing her hair from her face
- avoiding eye contact.
Pet Peeve: Number one way to piss Melissa off is to change the way you act towards her once you realize her status. That drives her insane.
Personality:
Melissa can play her role well, that's for sure. Want a submissive, demure slave? You got it. Lissy will play that role if it keeps her alive and well, but it is just a roll.
Anyone who'd known the young girl back in the days she attended school, would recognize that. Naturally Melissa was bouncy and happy, (perhaps a little naive) with an opinion on everything. She'd sit and debate for hours because honestly she found it fun. She loved understanding people, and it didn't matter that she perhaps didn't agree on everything - Lissy just wanted to understand why someone thought the way they did.
But now Melissa had learned to bite her tongue, and would agree with anything a master says if it means avoiding punishment. It didn't mean she meant it - it was just survival.
Even if tomorrow Melissa was freed, she doubted it would ever be how it was. Three years of slavery, of beatings and having others and herself squash her personality has taken it's tole. She might never be who she once was again. Maybe that was for the best. Her eyes were open to the crueler parts of this world. She'd never be that naive again.

Birthplace:
Family:
Mother | Erica McCarthy | 41 | Hotelier| Muggle
Step Father | Robert McCarthy | 48 | suspected terrorist currently being held in custody | Half blood
Birth Father | Louis Trent | 38 | Waiter | Muggle
Half Brother | Alexander (Lexi) McCarthy | 23 | protester for muggle born rights| Half blood
History:
It was an unusual couple, Erica and Robert McCarthy - everyone was a little surprised when Robert popped the question. After all most of Robert's friends from his time at Hogwarts expected him to marry a magical girl, not a young muggle go getter. But despite people's surprise and personal opinions they married, and within a year Erica fell pregnant. Alexander McCarthy was the little carbon copy of his father, so it wasn't a surprise when he began showing magical ability. Erica took some time of work to raise their son - but full time motherhood didn't agree with her. Some women were meant to be full time mothers but Erica wasn't one of them.
And as a result her eyes began to wander.
Louis Trent caught her eye, and an affair began which resulted in a pregnancy. Robert knew, somewhere deep inside, that the baby girl born nine months later wasn't his but never said anything. He feared loosing his wife and son. No one ever voiced the question of Melissa's blood line. Over time that girl became his daughter, despite the lack of a blood link, and that's how the family grew up.
Lexi was first to go to Hogwarts, attending while Lissy was only 6. She watched her big brother in awe as he left and couldn't wait to go herself.
In 2005 Melissa finally gained her place at the School, and was sorted into Hufflepuff. The family were happy before the trouble began. And that trouble would quickly tare apart their family.
February 28, 2009 saw the introduction of blood status documentation, and Robert began to panic. There were no tests carried out, his child's "half blood" status were issued without question because of the his marriage. No one apart from Robert and his wife knew of their daughter's true blood line, but it still made him nervous, if anyone was to dig a little deeper they would discover the truth. Of course Melissa herself had no idea of her father's worries, and returned to the school as if nothing was wrong.
If Robert had left it alone then perhaps no one would ever have found Melissa's status, but he got scared. He thought perhaps if he joined the protests he could change the law before anyone ever found out about his daughter, but instead he brought an unhealthy amount of attention on his family. No one who spoke out during those dark days were left alone. A few people started to ask questions, but it would take a little over a year for the truth to be found
By May Alexander had joined his father in the campaign for Muggle born rights, effectively doubling the scrutiny of the family, as Melissa returned to Hogwarts for her 6th year.
A ministry representative arrived at the school early in the morning on the 16th September, while one simultaneously arrived at the McCarthy family home. Robert was arrested for crimes against the Ministry and forging blood status documentation while his son Alexander was arrested for conspiracy against the Ministry. Out of fear of the Erica's reaction the ministry officials placed a charm on the woman. Now she remembers nothing of her magical family.
Melissa was pulled from breakfast into the head of Hufflepuff's office, to be faced with the head of house, the head master and the Ministry representative.
Melissa was charged with lying about her blood status, and attending Hogwarts unlawfully. Despite her pleases, quickly turned begging, that she had no idea about any of this, they didn't listen. It didn't mater if she knew or not - she was guilty. The two members of staff looked on sympathetically as Melissa was told that her father was not in fact her father, feeling for the young girl but knowing that they were powerless to stop anything. They knew what was coming when Melissa was told to produce her wand from her robes, and watched her heart break all over again as it was broken into four parts in front of her. Her wand was gone...
Melissa was removed from the school that day, but not home as she thought. Instead she was taken into ministry vaults. Still no one had told her what was going on. She was left alone for a long time, before a man finally entered the room. She was told she'd been found guilty of every one of her charges, and was now property of the ministry.
She was trained for a little under four months, and then was sold onto her first master. The old man who bought her wasn't so bad, he was fair, and mostly she just cooked and cleaned. But the man died in late July, so now Melissa awaits a master yet again. She can only hope they will be as tolerant as the first one.

You left me...
Bang!
You promised,
Bang!
And you left me!
Bang, bang, BANG!
The punch bag swung violently under Gabriel's painful assault. His gloved fists pounded relentlessly, again and again as the painful thoughts and memories slid into his mind and in front of his gaze. It was mostly faces, or rather one face. Daisy... Daisy surprised when she'd tried to help him up when they first met, Daisy laughing, Daisy scowling, Daisy biting her lip, Daisy leaning forward to kiss him... Daisy's face pale in shock as she found out what he'd done to Oliver, Daisy's tear stained face, Daisy's face buried in her hands as she choked those words that haunted Gabriel's every waking minute, "I can't do this anymore, Gabriel..."
Bang, bang, BANG!
How could she? She promised she'd never leave him! Gabriel had given her everything, he'd been willing to work on everything for her, and what had she said?
"I can't do this anymore..."
"Weak... Fucking weak!" Gabriel growled under his breath as his fists continued their relentless strikes on the practice bag - it was a wonder it hadn't been knocked it's hook from the ceiling. His punches were quickly loosing their discipline and skill - that's what happened when there was the wrong emotion behind them. Not anger - anger was good, but the sorrow, the mourning of the woman he'd lost made his actions frantic and sloppy - made them dangerous.
The sweat beads glistened on the young man's forehead as he attacked the punching bag, his grey vest shirt dampening down to a darker shade. Part of his tattoo, "Angel" spelled out across his shoulder blades, peeked out from under the shirt, only the A and EL were uncovered. They contorted and twisted as he moved his arms, contorting as he threw more punches.
You...LEFT!
