Five good traits

- Caring
- Determined
- Sense of humor
- Puts others before her
Five bad traits
- Bad temper
- Doesn’t handle stress very well
- Impatient
- Prideful
- Jealous
Evie is a very down to earth person, she likes to joke around and tries to see the good in any situation; however, with the events of the past few years she has nearly lost that personality trait. She can be somewhat vain and is very prideful. Loyal, Evie will stick by Trevor and support him through thick and thin after the hell he went through to save her and help her regain her memory. She can be very opinionated at times, leading to the stubbornness she's known for. If she has her mind set on something, then it's going to happen and to hell with what other people think. Naturally, she tries the most direct path first (going to the person who can make the change) but if that doesn't work, she will find a way.
She is not someone you want to get on the bad side of. She has a temper and can become emotional if pushed far enough. Her true husband, Casey Winslow, had a way with her when she was like this, but even he had problems getting her to calm down and listen to reason. If she believes you've done something against her and has seen what she considers proof enough that you've done it, then too bad. There's very little you can do until she cools down--if she cools down. Some things simply aren't forgivable in her books, and that especially applies to relationships. She's told both men she's been with that if they ever cheated on her or hit her, they were goners. No ands, ifs, or buts about it.
History
Childhood:
Evie was born to Thomas and Evelyn Price on July 15th of the year 1978. She was a beautiful baby, but despite her parents' initial excitement about her, politics and their image came first. Her parents were usually gone, leaving her with a nanny, and once she started Hogwarts, she tended to spend times away from school with her best friends and partners in crime, Fred and George Weasley. She was closer to the Weasley family than her own parents, to be quite truthful. Whenever her parents were home, her father was usually busy with his important work as French diplomat for the Ministry and her mother planning charity parties, parties she grew to hate at a very young age, especially given the way her parents expected her to behave around the stiff, rich people all for sake of their image.
When she turned eleven, she received her Hogwarts letter just like any other child her age. She was excited, naturally. What child wasn't? New experiences, a chance to be away from parents, and make friends. Of course, for Evie, this was an even bigger deal. The children her parents had always had around were usually far too well behaved and easy prey for her prankster antics. Here? Here she hoped to find good friends who would actually play around and not act stiffer than cardboard. The Sorting Hat quickly sorted her into Gryffindor, and while eating at the feast that followed, she met the Weasley twins, at first watching with amusement as their brother Percy got onto them for whispering to each other, accusing them of plotting something, something she asked them about in a quiet voice as they followed the prefects up to the common room.
The trio quickly became friends, quickly adding Lee Jordan to the group. The pranks started off innocently enough, only growing in complexity as the quartet grew in age and knowledge. While Fred and George gained most of the reputation for being the ones to do most of the carrying out, Evie liked to consider herself the mastermind. After all, what group of boys didn't have a girl behind them helping organize things? Those clowns couldn't possibly have done it without her in her mind.
She met her husband-to-be in her sixth year at Hogwarts while on the train. There had been an incident with animagus twins Amie and Jamie Seams chasing each other from the compartment and a dog-like one coming back in, and he had grown curious as to what was going on. Introducing himself as a sixth year Ravenclaw by the name of Casey, their relationship began. The two stayed with the other three students for a while until one wanted to sing at which case they bolted and spent the rest of the train ride in their own compartment, talking and agreeing to meet by the statue of the humpback witch the next day.
It took a few months before he finally tried to ask her to the Yule Ball. They both sort of danced around the topic during the Hogsmeade trip that day before finally Evie blurted out the question. Of course, no relationship is without its problem and theirs certainly had a few very quickly. Fleur Delacour of Beauxbatons was interested in Casey as well and frequently proved a challenge as the two girls fought for Casey’s undivided attention. Evie was glad when the Triwizard Tournament was over and the girl left.
It would have been simple had that been their only challenge, but soon after they made plans to go to the Yule Ball together, Jamie Seams attacked Evie, trying to get her to kill Ginny Weasley. Casey came in time to break the Imperius, and Jamie got mad and tried to kill them both. Thankfully she was two years younger and inexperienced. The two got away with injuries. That was only the beginning of their troubles with Voldemort and his followers.
Towards the end of the year, Lucius Malfoy attempted to kill the young couple. After turning Malfoy into a chicken, he managed to get away with an unconscious Evie in his arms. She suffered the brunt of the Sectumsempra attack as he carried her away and was sent to Mungo’s for a few weeks. Casey was relieved when she finally woke and was released. The year ended soon after.
Her seventh year was relatively uneventful in the Voldemort arena aside from one incident. However, there was Umbridge and the problems she presented for her and her boyfriend. Both despised the woman, especially since she denied as the papers had the year before any of their and Harry’s claims about Voldemort.
At the Yule Ball that year, Casey proposed to her in the gardens beneath a tree. She was certainly not suspecting it aside from the fact that he seemed so nervous about it, but she accepted, and the two went back inside to continue to enjoy the Yule Ball. Of course, seventh year Slytherin Michelle Thompson had to ruin the night for the pair. She overheard everything and in order to carry out Voldemort’s orders, told the band about it, and they made an announcement, everyone swarming to Evie and Casey. The two were separated, Michelle quickly moving in to take Casey to the Forbidden Forest, polyjuiced as Evie. Serena Riley, a fellow Ravenclaw, saved the day.
The rest of the year was spent enjoying each other and new experiences, studying, trying to ignore their parents’ protests (neither set approved of the other set’s child), and avoiding Umbridge. Nothing spectacular. Well, it was to them, but it was also difficult. Nevertheless, their troubles and struggle to stay together proved worthwhile in the end.
Before the Takeover:
The couples’ first couple of years of marriage were rather normal. They were like any other newlywed couple, only part of the Order. But Voldemort seemed quiet, and they feared along with the others that he was plotting something major. However, they didn’t allow this to dampen their time together. It was too hard to ignore the bliss of newlywed life and the triumph that their victory over their parents’ wills gave. As Evie herself put it, they were either too stubborn to admit defeat or deeply in love. Thirteen years of marriage seems to have proved that.
They began teaching at Hogwarts during Harry Potter’s seventh year at the school because the Order stationed them there. Evie taught Charms and became head of Gryffindor as McGonagall took on the Headmistress position. Casey taught Defense Against the Dark Arts and was also the head of his former house. Activity on the Death Eater front picked up over the year, and eventually Casey ended up going under cover as a spy for the Order on the Death Eaters in hopes to gain an inside look. This caused a lot of stress in the marriage, and that in combination with the fact that Evie was pregnant lead to her temporary loss of magical ability.
Eventually he and the Order planned to fake his death. However, Derrin White, former good friend of Evie’s and Hufflepuff, had his way with the other man, repeated use of Sectumsempra leading to severe blood loss and a two-day coma. Those two days were living hell for Evie. Was she going to have to raise this baby all by herself? She was nervous enough as it was even with Casey there beside her promising to help. Could she do this all alone? Was she even ready? Oh Merlin, please don’t let him die.
After he came out of the coma, the two moved into Order HQ, and so began the healing process and the harrowing process of convincing the world and Voldemort he was dead. Coming back was another problem but managed. When Evie’s first child, Julian Thomas Winslow, was born shortly after Voldemort’s defeat at Potter’s hands, everything seemed right in the world again. They had a fresh start, were free of the restraint of being professors, and finally had their chance at a normal life, the life they’d always desired but could never seem to have.
That all went up in flames three years down the road when Casey had finally quit Quidditch and they had returned to their former positions at Hogwarts with their three-year-old son joining them. Everything was going fine until Voldemort found Evie in the Forbidden Forest one day and managed to plant seeds of doubt in the twenty-two-year-old’s head about her husband’s fidelity. Angered and hurt, she agreed to join Voldemort’s ranks. Casey managed to talk her out of believing this and regain her trust, but as much as he tried, he could not get her to leave Voldemort. This caused a lot of tension and the start of Evie’s confiding in Trey Hunter, the handsome, young headmaster.
Everything started out innocently enough. Evie was happily married and devoted to Casey, after all, and she would never dream of hurting him in that way. However, when she stumbled into the Three Broomsticks, finding her husband heavily making out with another woman, everything changed. Trey was very supportive, and feelings slowly developed to the point where towards the end of the year he managed to get her to come spend the weekend at his flat with him. The two almost consummated their feelings, but it never happened. She had said Casey’s name on accident, which made her decide she wanted to end things completely with Casey before she did anything major with Trey.
So, Evie went off to bed and thought Trey had, too. She couldn’t have been more wrong about it. Trey Hunter, truly named Trevor Williams, attacked her, torturing her both physically and mentally to her breaking point, making her realize what had really happened. He and Morgana, the woman in the bar who Casey had been with, had been working together for Voldemort to kill them. Had the blonde not walked in right then and there looking like her and saying how she and “Trey” would take good care of Julian and things of that nature, Evie’s young life would have ended right then and there. However, it proved to give her the adrenaline rush she needed to snap back just long enough to escape to warn Casey.
This was a hard obstacle to overcome once all was said and done and “Trey” was behind bars for another failed attempt at getting John Kenneth, a friend and fellow Order member. She was reclusive for months, violently outbursting if Casey came near for a while and managed to trigger a memory of that night in the headmaster’s flat. But they overcame it, eventually having their second child, Lydia Renee Winslow.
The year the takeover began, Evie was happily married with two children and twins on the way. They were back to teaching at the school again, had been teaching for two years prior to that. Things were good (despite Casey’s fall into depression). The only thing that was on her mind was how old she felt with Julian starting his first year at Hogwarts. But that all changed when Derrin’s Death Eater movement attacked the school and the Ministry, causing the Order to band back together and fight. Their efforts were cut short when Trevor took over in Derrin’s place and began his take over of the world, killing Casey and the kids and erasing Evie’s memory, tricking her into thinking that he (Trevor) was her husband and that Casey and the Order were evil and had done horrible things to her.
Since the Takeover:
Since the takeover Evie has been living happily with Trevor as his wife and lady of the land. It has been a year and she has regained most of her memory (thanks to Trevor and Doctor Cambridge) and has healed from the emotional scar that the miscarriage of their twins at the hands of the Order had made. Things were difficult and rocky for a few months after the incident. After all, how could she trust a man she had very little memory of? Because of this, a one-night stand occurred, but she never repeated the mistake. She soon came to realize she had to trust Trevor because how could she keep ignoring these memories she was regaining? There’s still much that has yet to be “restored,” but she feels confident in Doctor Cambridge’s procedure, though she is understandably growing impatient with it. She wants her memory back as quickly as possible and as such will explore other options if presented the chance.

This was it, what all the years of planning had come to. The final siege of the castle, the only strong threat left in this world for people like them. Derrin had waited for this moment for so long, that taste of power that only something like this could give. This is what he was born for, what was rightfully his after working so hard to get here. Unlike the others standing with him Derrin was groomed for this sort of power and it would be his.
The Death Eaters stood in a line just behind the trees of the Forbidden forest, dressed in their black hooded robes and skull mask which have long since been forgotten by time with the fall of the dark lord and his legacy, but now it was his legacy and Derrin would bring that fear back into the hearts and minds of all the wizarding world.
The attack itself was a genius one. The school and the Ministry simultaneously. Both buildings wouldn’t be prepared for such an attack, it had been eight years since any sort of Death eater activity and people get lazy and careless when they think nothing can disrupt their perfect existence. The Minister was a fool to ignore even the smallest possibility that some uprising could still occur, even the Order seemed to get careless. Derrin expected his little run-in with Casey in Knockturn Alley to land him once again in the courtroom of the Ministry if not Azkaban but no, Winslow was none the wiser as far as he knew and it helped that no attacks done by the Death Eaters were done in a noticeable way, all small scale ‘petty’ crimes, each one leading up to this.
It would be war. Derrin had promised his followers revenge, a bloody victorious battle. Many of the veteran Death Eaters were more than pleased with this promise; their thirst for vengeance was far greater than anything else. Even the newly recruited ones seemed ready for a taste of power. Slowly Derrin glanced to his left and then to his right, looking down the row of twenty or so men and women standing beside him, all waiting to move forward. Soft mummers began to fill the air as the excitement of the attack began to grow, a feeling of restlessness seemed to settle all around them and some could not wait any longer. Using their wands and striking down birds and any other small animals that crossed their path.
All would go according to plan, everyone had their orders or where they were to attack, where they were to guard and keep secure from any one that dared tried to interfere. This attack would be the biggest spill of innocent blood in all of history, a heartless attack on hundreds of children that would both disgust and shock anyone that woke to read the Daily Prophet headline the next morning.
Some thought he was insane, but those that were there all those years ago knew that this was not just a publicity stunt, but an act of revenge. Hogwarts was still home to a good majority of the Order, or at least the members of the Order that made any difference. It was them that he wanted, what majority of their numbers wanted to see…Every single one of them dead at their feet.
A sick, sadistic smile curled on his lips as Derrin played the image of Casey begging for mercy at his feet in his mind. It had been a dream he had seen many times before and it brought him a great sense of satisfaction to imagine it, but tonight he wouldn’t have to imagine any longer. Winslow was the reason for Derrin’s downfall in the Ministry, the reason why his career was destroyed, well he would return the favor and destroy Winslow’s family and make him watch helplessly as each one of them died before his eyes. Oh yes, his revenge would be sweet, Derrin had waited far too long for this moment and he would make sure to make the most of it. Not only would Winslow watch his precious wife suffer at the hands of Trevor but also his two children.
Despite the intense distrust and hate for the man, Derrin had promised Trevor the Winslow woman; she was his to do with as he pleased, Derrin no longer had any use for her, Trevor on the other hand had unfinished business and it would keep the Metamorphmagus out of his hair. Trevor could even do what he wanted with the children, all Derrin wanted was Winslow.
With one final glance at his followers Derrin began to advance forward and out of the cover of the forest once the clock tower struck 8 p.m, raising his wand to the sky and saying Morsmordre and conjuring the dark mark, a symbol that hasn’t been seen in over eight years, the symbol of their cause. Each hooded figure chanting and raising their wands to the ready once those great oak doors were opened. The Death Eaters marched up the lawn, spreading across the dark grounds like a shadow, the moonlight peaking through the clouds showing the way. The pace of the march began to grow the more they neared, Derrin holding his wand out and sending a spell at the double oak doors, everyone else following him and doing the same until the combined force of the spell was no match for the weathered doors and they shattered to pieces with a loud bang that echoed throughout the Castle.
Screams of the students on their way to the ball began to fill the air from the blast, growing more panicked when everyone else in the Great Hall noticed tall hooded figures walk into the castle and start casting spells. Some of these figures going up the grand stairs, others down to the dungeon and the Great Hall where majority of the school was soon to be gathered, sending spells at any student or professor they crossed.
The students began to scramble and run in all directions, screaming from fear, ducking behind suits of armor to keep out of the path of any spells that may have been sent after them, hiding in class rooms or running to the secret passages they knew to be there.
Derrin stood in the center of all the madness, not being able to stop the laugh that came. This was just a little fun for them until the professors made their presence known. Just a little target practice until the desired prey came. People would call him mad, insane, heartless, evil…Which is exactly what he wanted, to be feared like Voldemort had, but he would do things differently than Voldemort, Derrin wouldn’t make the same mistakes Riddle did, no, he would be better, more powerful than that man ever was.
Attacking the school during the Yule Ball was in his opinion genius, just before the holiday, such a tragic loss…not, at least for him. It would be a victory
