11:50 a.m.
This was nerve wrecking. He hadn't been on Hogwarts grounds in years and he hadn't planned on ever setting foot there again unless absolutely necessary, but this morning, Katya had written him asking to come home. After the letter he had sent her the night before, he couldn't blame her for wanting to come home; however, he couldn't help but feel apprehensive. There was no telling if she had only read the first part or the second part. There was no telling if she hated him or not. There was no telling what mood she was going to be in. Nevertheless, he had a feeling she wasn't going to be in a great mood, and he was going to have to deal with an upset, possibly crying and moody daughter. Sounded like the makings for a great weekend. Not so much, but it was necessary. Now, the only thing he had to do was hope Julian would treat her well and not cause her further problems by saying things to further confuse her. He had spoken with him before leaving to pick up Katya, but he could only hope it had been enough to convince the boy to not do so.
Trevor had figured lunch time would be the perfect time to pick Katya up. Her classmates would be in the Great Hall, which meant she could pack in the common room in peace rather than have to pack with a bunch of nosy girls bugging her to find out what was wrong or where she was going. She would have plenty of that when she came back tomorrow night or Monday morning, depending upon when her first class was, but hopefully by then she'd have more time to gather her wits. Right now he had no doubt she was caught up with a variety of emotions and didn't need to deal with it, so he'd waited until it was as close to lunch time as he dared to wait before heading to the school. He kept his appearance his usual one until after he'd passed through the gates. Then, he had used his metamorphmagus abilities to change minute facial features. He glanced at a pocket mirror to ensure it was different enough to throw people off before heading to the castle.
It wasn't long before Trevor made his way into the foyer where he came to stop, waiting for any sign of his daughter descending the stairs or entering from the grounds. He had sent her a letter saying for her to keep an eye out for him around lunch time. Hopefully she had received it.
((Sorry it sucks, but I wanted to get something up for you. And, if you have a better title idea, feel free to let me know.))
