Kristofer Wilkinson Apparated into the foyer of Cale Manor, straightening the collar of his Armani suit. With some feeling of irritation, he glanced at his watch. He was here on time, so where was that irritating girl? Or the house elf? Where was that damned house elf? He was here like she requested. It wasn't like he had to rearrange his schedule to fit in this little meeting. No, it wasn't like after this he had to go remind some people that they owed him money.
The man was about to march up the stairs to go look for the girl, despite their agreement that upstairs was off limits. His time was precious. The sound of steps grew louder and Kristof turned to see little Lissianna glide serenely into the room, looking as lovely as she always did. He grinned, predatory, as soon as he saw her. "You look lovely this morning, Miss Delacruz." He gave her a half bow, oozing politeness, mind calculating what he could demand from her this time. The only reason she'd call upon him before their appointed meetings was if she wanted something.
Lissianna allowed herself to let slip a cold smile, eyes betraying minimal emotion. "Mr. Wilkinson. Thank you so much for seeing me today." Her true self shuddered and hid deeper into her mind, hiding behind the wall she put around herself when she talked with Kristof. "As you are most likely aware, I am in need of a slight bonus in my allowance for the month." She smiled, slightly condescending, as if the news should have been expected. Liss looked away, waving her hand in the air flippantly. "I need just enough for a broom and some more research materials. You may have also heard, but Miss Corova has turn over all her research to me. I need to be well read."
Kristof smiled indulgently, understandingly, yet still conveying the fact that he could crush this girl's life if he so wished. Of course he knew. There was very little he didn't know. He even knew that little Lissianna had been visited by a man, though he was still in the process of finding out the identity of said man. Nothing a little bit more digging wouldn't result. "A broom and a few texts?" He circled her, looking for weaknesses, any sign that she was lying. She was a rather pretty creature, a bit tiny for his liking, but the possibilities were endless. He grabbed her jaw and turned her face to his. Lissianna tried her best not to show fear, but couldn't help her eyes widen a bit in pain; his grip was strong.
"You'll have to do something for me. As always. Just like last time." He spoke softly. She stared at him firmly, defiantly, and growled, feral. "Yes." Kristof released her and grinned, stepping back to appraise her. Yes, she'd do nicely, as soon as she was well groomed. She was still a bit to mouse-like for his plans. Soon, soon. "Just a bit of information. Again. London proper, this time. Listen to everyone, take notes of what's interesting. You remember don't you? What I find interesting and what I don't?" He leaned in close to her ear. Lissianna shivered and tried not to recoil. Show no weakness, show no weakness. "Satisfy my curiosity and you'll find the funds in your Gringotts account tomorrow morning." He blew hot air against her ear. "To make up for what you spent yesterday in Diagon Alley."
Kristof stepped back and straightened his suit jacket again. "I expect a letter no later than 11 tonight. Ta." With a bow, he Disapparated. Lissianna released the breath she'd been holding and collapsed on her knees. Damn the man. Damn him for knowing everything. For a moment, she feared for Alexander, for his safety. No, she stood up and made for her room. She couldn't worry about that now. She had a task to finish.
